SoCal News and Notes – September 26th, 2005

News and notes from this past weekends shows, and upcoming events in SoCal, including FCW, AWS, Adrenaline Unleashed, and more. Click below to read.-FCW will once again be running at the Great Western Forum in Inglewood for
their next show, most likely in December. They originally announced they would
return to the Grand Olympic for December’s show, but with the Olympic being
turned into a church as most would guess that’s not happening.

-Sabu versus Messiah has been announced for the next FCW show. One would guess
La Familia de Tijuana versus the La Familia Casa.

-The reason Human Tornado was off the FCW show is because he was told to choose
between FCW and AWS, as FCW didn’t want him working another show on the same
date. Lil’ Cholo and Los Luchas (Zokre and Phoenix Star) were also given the
same option and chose FCW.

-Bo Cooper was in the corner of Pogo the Clown and Mortis at the FCW show,
and apparently his injured hip is recovering well, and he should be back in
the ring in January or December.

-AWS has announced Human Tornado (c) versus Adam Pearce in a steel cage for
the AWS title, Lil’ Nate versus Quicksilver (c) in a street fight for the LA
Lightweight title, and Scorpio Sky versus Scott Lost, which will be a rematch
of their October 1st PWG match, for their October 22nd show.

-Shannon Moore will be wrestling two SoCal shows in October, on the 21st for
WAR in La Habra Heights, and on October 22nd for APW in Bakersfield.

-I don’t know why they haven’t hyped this, as it is something that would separate
them from all other SoCal promotions, but Adrenaline Unleashed will be using
a six-sided ring on their September 30th show in City of Industry.

-JACK FM will be at the site of the Adrenaline Unleashed show in City of Industry
the day of the show from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM giving out free stuff, including
tickets to the show.

-Despite some rumors, American Dragon is not scheduled to be on October 1st’s
PWG show.

-San Diego’s SAW will be having a video game tournament with fans at Game Lords
in Mission Beach on September 30th and October 7th for a “Smackdown vs.
Raw”‘ and “‘Day of Reckoning” tournament. Both nights will start
at 8:00 PM. They will be also running a free show on October 8th at the Wave
House in Ocean Beach. For more information go to http://www.sawprowrestling.com.

-Tickets for the WWE Raw and Smackdown shows in Los Angeles and Anaheim, as
well as the Taboo Tuesday pay-per-view in San Diego go on sale October 1st.

-I should have an interview with Joey Ryan up on the site this week.
