Two SoCal wrestling related articles were featured in last Sunday’s (8.22.04) Orange County Register. The front page featured a story on World Power Wrestling’s Chippy Sanchez with plenty of mention of his home fed WPW and Martin Marin. Lil Cholo and the Human Tornado are pictured as well.
There is also an article in that same paper in the Arts & Entertainment section about lucha libre in general. The article mentions lucha libre history and how it is involved in our current cultural. Orange County is tied in with this piece very frequently. There’s some stuff on Chilango, a mention of one of SoCal’s greatest spectacles Lucha Va Voom, and a mention of PWG running in Santa Ana as well.
