The winner will become both the UPW lightweight champion and the UPW Mat Wars

Frankie Kazarian is fresh off a hard fought victory at Overload defeating both
Evan Karagias and Jerry Lynn. Stradlin himself is fresh off two hard fought
victories at the last Mat Wars show defeating both Tommy Wilson and The Miz.
This will be the first time Kazarian and Stradlin will face each other and Mat
Wars is proud to bring it to you. Each man will be looking prove who is the
best in the west!

This match promises to be nothing, if not intense! Andrew Hellman, no stranger
to intensity, continues to make a name for himself in UPW, and a victory over
“The Scrap Daddy” would be a great accomplishment for the young Hellman.
“Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce, still quite angry after his recent loss
to “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka at Overload, hopes to put yet another checkmark
in his “win” column. No Titles, no grudges, just bragging rights.

The women’s division sure is heating up here at UPW! With UPW Women’s Champion,
Erica Porter, recently scoring a victory over former WWE Women’s Champion, Ivory,
at Overload, Erica solidified her position as “The One to Beat”. Valentina
and Desire both have their eyes set on Erica and her UPW Women’s Title, but
first they have to work their way through each other. This match marks the debut
of UPW’s Women’s division action at UPW Mat Wars. Don’t miss the UPW debut of
Valentina as well as Desire’s return to UPW action!

This matchup puts two of the top tag teams on the west coast against each other
for the first time on a Mat Wars show! There’s nothing we can say “aboot”
The Ballard Brothers that you don’t know. Time and time again, they prove why
they are the absolute best and welcome the challenge for anyone to prove them
wrong. However, The X Foundation could be the Tag Team to get the job done.
Few teams can match the fluid teamwork that The X Foundation brings to the table,
and even fewer can defeat them. Each Tag Team will be looking to show that they
are the best, and that they should be the standard bearer in which all Tag Teams
should strive for! The only question remaining is: “Once the bell sounds,
which team will beat the hype and walk out the victor?”
