UPW is proud to announce its return to its “home” the Galaxy Concert Theatre, on Wednesday October 22.Returning to UPW in a live appearance is none other than the “Hot Rod” himself, Rowdy Roddy Piper! The Rowdy One will host a special Piper’s Pit and will be on hand to meet and greet UPW fans after the show.

With Commisioner Pete Doyle and Owner Rick Bassman battling for control of UPW and with Halloween looming this very special show has been aptly christianed “Possession.”

Another big question to be answered on October 22. Who will leave in possession of UPW’s gold. That question will be answeres as ALL 4 UPW Championships will be defended!

UPW Heavyweight Champion Scrap Iron Adam Pearce, UPW Lightweight Champion, The Future Frankie Kazarian, UPW Women’s Champion Erica Porter, w/The Big Schwag and UPW Tag Team Champions Hardkore, Inc. w/El Jefe will put it all on the line. Their Challengers will be announced next week on The Weekly Wire at upw.com.

There will be nine BIG matches in all, featuring UPW’s top Superstars, such as Predator, The Ballards, Skulu, Mako’a The Hawaiian Warrior, Lil’ Nate, Super Freak Chris Mordetzky, The Miz, Keiji Sakoda and many more, as well as the lovely UPW Vixens. This will also be a very special night as several hot up-and-comers get their first featured spots on a big UPW event. Included amongst those who have earned this honor through their hard work and dedication are Lukash, Tony Stradlin, Antonio Mestre, Shawn Riddick and Tommy Wilson.

Watch upw.com and Todd Keneley’s Weekly Wire for complete card information.

All in all, Possession shoudl be one “hell” of a show! In addition to Rowdy Roddy Piper and one HUGE night of UPW action, there will be a Superstars Costume Contest. The winner, dressed as his/her favorite Pro Wrestler, will win 2 tickets to WWE’s next live event in Southern California and a 6-pack of the just-released UPW DVDs.

The contest will be hosted by Macabre Theatre’s Ivanna Cadaver. Along with Miss Cadaver, the evening will be co-hosted by the star of Monster’s Ball, Riki Rachtman.

The entire event will be filmed for inclusion in TLC’s popular series “Faking It,” to air in January.

All tickets are $15 and are now on sale at The Galaxy Theatre box office, at 714 957-0600, and at Ticketmaster.
