More info on Lucha Underground “En Vivo” in San Diego / Escondido

Over the weekend Cricket Wireless and Lucha Underground announced several Lucha Underground live shows they are calling “Lucha En Vivo” taking place in Phoenix, AZ; Houston, TX; and San Diego, CA. The initial press release was light on details for the shows, but we can now provide a little additional information on the San Diego area show on November 5, 2016.

The show will actually be in Escondido, not San Diego, as part of the Escondido Tamale Festival. The festival will be held at Escondido’s Grape Day Park from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm, but times for the Lucha Underground show have not been announced as of press time.

Admission to the festival is completely free and there will be other entertainment such as latin dance performances, mariachi, and even a Chihuahua fashion show. There will also be food and beer available for sale.

Additionally there has been no lineup announced, but we can confirm Johnny Mundo is scheduled to be on the San Diego show. Johnny Mundo will also be doing a meet and greet at a Cricket Wireless authorized retail location in San Diego on November 6th. The exact location has not been finalized yet.

Grape Day Park is located at 321 N. Broadway in Escondido, CA.
