SoCal Throwbacks Vol. 3: The Revolution J Edition

This edition of SoCal Throwbacks takes a look at a few matches from the original Revolution Pro and their signature event, the Revolution J tournament, which took place between 2001-2004.

Rev J 2001: B-Boy vs. “Pinoy Boy” TJ Perkins

Before he was in the WWE’s Cruiserweight Classic, TJ Perkins competed in the first ever Revolution J tournament in 2001 against eventual tournament finalist B-Boy in the first round.

Rev J 2002: Joey Ryan vs. Mike Quackenbush

Some people might not have known or remembered, but Mike Quackenbush competed in the 2002 edition of the Revolution J, and in the first round went up against Joey Ryan.

Rev J 2002: Super Dragon vs. El Gallinero Tres

Before he was Scorpio Sky, he was part of the legendary SoCal wrestling Gallinero family dynasty as El Gallinero Tres. After defeating Top Gun Talwar in the first round, he would go on to face the 2001 Rev J tournament winner Super Dragon.

Rev J 2002: Super Dragon vs. Mike Quackenbush

After making past the first two rounds, Super Dragon would eventually face Mike Quackenbush in the semi-finals of the 2002 Revolution J tournament.

Rev J 2003 Qualifier: Disco Machine vs. Chris Bosh

Before the 2003 edition of the Revolution J, Chris Bosh faced off against Disco Machine in a qualifying match with the winner getting to enter the tournament later on in the month.
