SoCal News & Notes 05/23/2016

Today’s news and notes has updates on UIPW, Vendetta Pro, PWG, Lucha Underground, FCW, and more. Click to read. 

UIPW has added Rush from CMLL to their May 28th show in Montebello. He is scheduled to take Mariachi Loco’s spot in the main event, which will now be Mr. Aguila, Shamu Jr., and Ultimo Shamu versus Stuka Jr., Rush, and Enigma.

UIPW will also have a six-woman match to determine the UIPW women’s champion that will feature Thunder Rosa, Amazona, La Goloza, Sage Sin Supreme, Cristal, and Lady Lee.

Vendetta Pro announced that they will be holding an all-women’s show on June 24th in Santa Maria. The show will not be a tournament, but rather a regular show featuring all women’s matches. They have not announced a lineup yet.

PWG announced that their next show will be in July and will be their 13th anniversary show. The exact date has not been officially announced, but it is likely to be July 29th. This year’s Battle of Los Angeles is scheduled to be the next shows after the July anniversary show.

The next four (and last of the season) Lucha Underground tapings will be June 11th and 12, and June 25th and 26th.

FCW promoter Gus Parsons announced on Facebook yesterday that he has Bell’s palsy. We want to wish him a speedy recovery.

XWW will be running their next show on July 30th in Sun Valley. No lineup has been announced, but you can expect Mr. California to be in some sort of death match.

The LA Fuckers (Piloto Suicida & Shamu Jr.) along with Acero Dorado will be wrestling in Tijuana this Friday, May 27th for Promociones Cholo de Tijuana.
