Hollywood, CA… (May 16, 2014) On Sunday, June 15th the Stars ofChampionship Wrestling from Hollywood (CWFH) return to the Oceanview Pavilion in Port Hueneme, CA with the 2nd Annual Red Carpet Rumble, Featuring Hall of Famer Jake “The Snake” Roberts.
The Red Carpet Rumble (RCR) is CWFH’s premiere event and is headlined by a 30-man over the top rope elimination style match where the winner secures a guaranteed Hollywood Heritage Championship Match. In addition, they’ll be entered into the single elimination tournament to crown the first-ever United Wrestling Network (United) World Heavyweight Champion later this summer. This year’s RCR features former Hollywood Heritage Champion Sean “X-Pac” Waltman along with current CWFH Stars; Matt Striker, Willie Mack, the 7-foot Othello, Big Duke, Members of Vermin, Mikey O’Shea and many more. Adding to the excitement of the RCR are several matches featuring the very best in-ring competitors today. Making his return to Southern California for the first time in nearly 5 years is the current New Japan Pro Wrestling IWGP Heavyweight Champion “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles, “Hollywood’s Own” Joey Ryan challenges current MAVTV Champion Ryan Taylor to try and recapture his title, Hollywood Heritage Tag Team Champions The RockNES Monsters defend against the team of “Pretty” Peter Avalon and Colt “Boom-Boom” Cabana. “We’re working hard to exceed expectations. Our Matchmaker Danielle Martinez is still securing talent. She’s committed to providing the best possible opponent for both AJ and Hollywood Heritage Champion Ricky Mandel” states CWFH Executive Producer David Marquez. As a special attraction to this year’s event, the organizers will be staging a meet and greet featuring all participating talent. Seating for this event is General Admission. A $50.00 admission allows priority seating (first come-first serve) and entry to the autograph meet and greet. The $30.00 admission is also GA, but does not allow early entry or the meet and greet. “We hope to have the complete card ready and announced within a week.
