The speculation is running rampant, Drake Younger is rumored to have signed a contract with the WWE. Drake was Voted Wrestler of the Month for December 2013 and is currently nominated for several year end awards. Drake has been nominated for Wrestler of the Year and has multiple matches in the Match of the Year category; vs. Adam Cole from PWG’s March Event, with B-Boy vs. Ray Rosas & Eric Cross at IWL’s April Event, and vs. Lil Cholo at AWS’ December Event.
The new year often brings a slew of WWE signings, last year the first signing was rumored when Sami Zayn (El Generico). It was followed up in May with the signings of Slate Randall (Shaun Ricker), Kalisto (Samuray del Sol), and Solomon Crowe (Sami Callihan).
In his brief time in SoCal, Drake became a regular for IWL, AWS, PWG, Wrestling Cares, and was part of the CWFH “Open Door Challenge.”
