Official Press Release for Pro Wrestling WAR on 9/2

As summer winds down and fall comes in the winds of change begin to change more than the leaves on the trees. Now allow to once again say that what everyone has been hearing is indeed true. Gary Yap is no longer associated with WAR in any fashion anymore. We are focused on bringing you the best show we can possibly bring you and we are committed to making sure you come to the show and enjoy yourselves and the show. Well enough about that lets talk about the matches.Twist vs. The Reason: These two stars from the Pinnacle Wrestling Federation in Washington are coming down to So Cal to bring their unique brand of wrestling to WAR. They have been calling the WAR offices asking for their chance and at the word of Jack Evans they are going to be given that chance coming up this Friday. These two has promised that they are going to show So Cal why Pinnacle is the fastest rising promotion in the Pacific Northwest and that they are going to show the So Cal fans something special.

“Photogenic” Chris Bosh vs. Markus Riot: Since entering into WAR Bosh has set his sights squarely on the “franchise” player of WAR Jack Evans. After attacking him several times and even attacking him fresh off of a serious injury Bosh was certain he was going to have a match against Evans at the next WAR show. That was not to be however when it was announced that Evans already had a match. Furious he decided to send a message to Evans by destroying the man who has grown to idolize Jack and that man is Markus Riot. Markus has accepted the match despite the knowledge that this is a new level for him. Undetered by this fact however Markus is out to prove not only to himself but everyone that he belongs in the same ring with someone like Bosh. Will Markus pull off the upset of the year? Or will Bosh send his message to Jack Evans loud and clear?

Three-Way Tag Team Elimination Match; The Young Bucks vs. Los Luchas vs. The Human Tornado and Biggie Biggz: Three teams are all making a play to solidify themselves in WAR. The Young Bucks are making their WAR debuts after beginning to make their names in Southern California. WAR took notice and called on them to prove themselves for WAR. The Young Bucks have said they are going to prove why they are the best young tag team in So Cal. Phoenix Star and Zokre have made names for themselves all over So Cal and beyond. WAR called them to bring their tag team cohesiveness to WAR and showcase their talents for all to see. Los Luchas have promised to show why they are being called the future of tag team wrestling. The Human Tornado and Biggie Biggz have been calling the WAR offices to get a tag team match to cement their place in the promotion so it was only natural to place them in this match. They have made a solemn vow that they will show both of the debuting teams that WAR belongs to them. Will the hunger of the Young Bucks be enough to win? Will the natural flow of Los Luchas shine through and show their vast experience as a tag team? Or will the combination of the speed of The Human Tornado and the raw power of Biggie prove too much to handle?

“The Modern Day Warrior” Charles Mercury vs. Hook Bomberry: Both men are making a push higher and higher into the standings and this collision was bound to happen sooner or later! Hook is coming off of a devastating defeat at the hands of Davey Richards in a close match that could have easily gone either way. Hook has promised that he we show why he is one of the most dangerous men in WAR and why from now on any man who steps in his way will be in for the fight of his life. Mercury has been very steady since his debut winning the very first match in WAR history. He has quietly been compiling a very good win/loss ratio and thus far feels he has been overlooked in WAR. Well no more said Mercury when he called the WAR offices seeking a match against anyone we had. Mercury is determined to prove that he is a force in WAR. So what style will win out? Will it be the strong style and shoot fighting of Hook? Or will the superb mat skills of Mercury be able to neutralize Hook?

El Generico vs. Topgun Talwar: In what is being considered one of the most anticipated matches of the night the generic luchadore El Generico takes on the power of the biggest man in So Cal Topgun Talwar! No one is quite sure how this match came about although there are several theory’s abound. Some are saying that Generico is saying he can prove his power by going toe to toe with SoCals steroid ed freak of nature. Some are saying that Topgun has questioned Genericos authenticity claiming he knows Mexican well since his diet is almost pure Chipotle. Whatever the reason for this match is these two men are looking forward to matching their respective moves and techniques against one another on a grand stage for all to see. Will Topgun’s Chipotle prove too hot for Generico to handle? Or will the power of Generico’s Brainbustaaaaaah shine through? Friday night we will all know for sure.

Davey Richards vs. “Mr. Wrestling” Kevin Steen: Our semi-main event is going to be a hard hitting even that is going to make even those sitting in the back feel the shots! Davey Richards has been on the roll of all rolls as of late and after defeating Hook Bomberry at our last show demanded he get a challenger that he could really test himself against. Well after several suggestions and potential challengers the response came out like a Richards chop to the chest. The man that Davey would be able to prove himself against was none other than “Mr. Wrestling” Kevin Steen! Steen is no stranger to a WAR ring and when informed that he would be taking on the young rookie who’s stock has begun to rise higher and higher he made a simple statement to Davey. Steen stated that everything that Davey has done up to this point has been nothing but a warm up and that Steen would welcome him to the real “big time.” Davey knows that a win against Steen would propel him to super stardom and make his star shine brightly. Steen just wants to make sure the kid know his place and has promised to show him where it is if he doesn’t know.

Jack Evans and Super Dragon vs. “The Technical Wizard” Joey Ryan and “The Professional” Scott Lost: The former X Foundation and now 2/3 of Arrogance called WAR demanding they be given any tag team that WAR could conjure up that was worthy enough to face them. This left WAR in a slight predicament as to who was a “worthy” team after all. After several sleepless nights WAR called Joey Ryan and informed him of the team they would be facing at WAR. Joey excitedly asked who but soon his excitement turned to disbelief as to who they would be facing. When Joey heard the names Jack Evans and Super Dragon he soon tried to change his tune about facing anyone put in front of them. After a conference with Scott he came back with a new aura of confidence about him. “We accept the match,” said Joey “we will show WARs little darling Jack Evans and Super Dragon why me and Scott are the best tag team in all of southern California. When informed of the match Super Dragon was said to simply nod his head and walk away. Jack Evans on the other hand seemed excited to step into the ring and face off two of SoCals best in Lost and Ryan. But there are questions that beg to be answered and they all seem to be on the side of Dragon and Evans. Can these two who have had quite the feud since the very first WAR show show tag team continuity in this match? Can they put aside their own differences long enough to be a cohesive tag team? Or will the tag team experience of Joey and Scott make this match the proverbial walk in park? Find out this Friday at the return of Pro Wrestling WAR!
