I find those words, written about the Civil War, just as fitting now as they were then. Our lives have forever been changed. Our World will never be the same. The images of Tuesday will never leave us, and forever haunt us.
I woke up early Tuesday morning. I didn’t have class till 12:30 and planned on sleeping in. I woke up around 7 and realized I hadn’t set my alarm. I normaly use my TV for an alarm, so I turned it on to set it. Still half asleep I could not at first understand what I was seeing. Then it hit me. I felt shock, then quickly after anger.
After watching this the last two days, a lot of my anger has turned into pride for my fellow Americans. All the support everyone has given shows what a great country we truly live in.
I have every faith that justice will be served. That the people responsible for this will pay. America has been attacked, I don’t think there is a price too high to bring that justice about.
I really do not have a whole lot to say. I just felt that something should be said on SCU, that we should not be silent.
SoCal UNCENSORED will not update on Friday in honor of our National Day of Mourning.
