A Guide to Survivor Series Week in Los Angeles

While Survivor Series Week is nowhere near the equivalent of a Wrestlemania week, there are still a lot of pro-wrestling related events in the Los Angeles area this week. In addition the four WWE events, LA is host to four independent events as well as a handful of meet & greets, signings, and a live podcast.

9:00 p.m. – Bar Wrestling 23: Testlemania in Baldwin Park

The week starts off with Joey Ryan’s Bar Wrestling, which will be holding their 23rd event since debuting last year. While not in Los Angeles itself, Baldwin Park is only roughly 20 miles from the Staples Center. Bar Wrestling shows are standing room only with a party-like atmosphere. The show is headlined by the Southern California debut of Nick Gage taking on Willie Mack.

7:00 p.m. – Game Changer Wrestling presents Joey Janela’s LA Confidential in Los Angeles.

The East Coast’s GCW will be making their Southern California debut with one of their signature Joey Janela events. Like most Joey Janela branded events, this one features unique matches that you never knew you wanted to see before. David Arquette will be subbing for the injured Joey Ryan to take on GCW Champion Nick Gage. This show is sold out.

After Joey Janela’s LA Confidential, Suburban Fight returns with a no-rules, no-ring bar fight show. This will be Suburban Fight’s fourth event after debuting this past February.

10:30 a.m. – Undertaker Signing in City of Industry

The Undertaker will be doing a rare signing event at Frank & Sons in City of Industry. The event is completely sold out.

Frank & Sons is located at 19649 E. San Jose Ave. in City of Industry, CA.

11:00 a.m. – The Bar Meet & Greet in Los Angeles

Sheamus and Cesaro will be doing a meet & greet at the Cricket Wireless located at 5857 S Central Ave #175 in Los Angeles from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Only the first 200 fans are guaranteed a chance to meet The Bar. This event is free.

12:00 p.m. – Something to Wrestle With Podcast with Bruce Prichard in Los Angeles

Bruce Prichard will be doing a live version of his popular podcast at the Regent Theater in Los Angeles. Tickets are available at Ticketfly for $32.50 general or $72.50 VIP.

3:00 p.m. – NXT Takeover: War Games in Los Angeles

For the first time, an NXT Takeover will be held in Southern California. This four match event will be highlighted by NXT’s second War Games Match.

Carmella will be doing a meet & greet at the Walmart in Pico Rivera from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Only the first 200 fans are guaranteed to meet her. Walmart is located at 8500 Washington Blvd. in Pico Rivera, CA. The event is free.

8:00 p.m. – Mexican Wrestling Federation in Los Angeles

MWF will be running a lucha libre show in Los Angeles following NXT. MWF is one of the longest continuously running lucha libre promotions in Southern California, however their show quality can be suspect at times.

Monday Night Raw will be at the Staples Center the night after Survivor Series. Who knows what will take place.

10:00 p.m. – Real1 fka Enzo in West Hollywood

The wrestler formerly known as Enzo Amore will be performing at the Whiskey A Go Go in West Hollywood on Monday night. The poster calls it a no-holds barred performance, but it is also all ages. If you are over 21 it is free, under 21 and it costs $10.00. The Whiskey is located at 8901 W. Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood, CA.
