I made the long drive to Port Hueneme to attend a taping of Championship Wrestling from Hollywood. The episodes were the lead up to last year’s Red Carpet Rumble and matchup between Hollywood Heritage Champion Peter Avalon and Scorpio Sky.

Scorpio Sky made his debut in TNA Impact. He wrestled as Mason Andrews and was part of a tournament for the vacant X-Division title.
Ten Years Ago
Pro Wrestling Guerrilla announced the lineup for their third Battle of Los Angeles tournament. This would be the first BOLA to have 24 participants. Looking back, the tournament had an amazing lineup that included Dragon Kid, Chris Hero, Neville, Sami Zayn, Cesaro, Kevin Owens, CIMA, Daniel Bryan (he was later replaced by Tony Kozina), among others.

B-Boy and Super Dragon were invited to CZW’s second annual Best of the Best tournament in Philadelphia at the ECW Arena. Dragon and B-Boy weren’t the only ones making their ECW Arena debuts though, as SoCalUncensored.com hit the City of Brotherly Love. Scrub chronicled the adventures.
