One Year Ago

We lost one of the most popular wrestlers in Southern California in the early 2000s, when Rising Son passed away at the age of 33.

Five Years Ago

Jeremy Jaeger won EWF’s Inland Title Tournament, defeating Ryan Taylor in the finals. Chad had a recap of the tournament in his Chaos Column.

Ten Years Ago

Wrestling Society X had its last television taping and featured a piranha tank match and an exploding cage match.

Fifteen Years Ago

A promotion that planned to run at the Grand Olympic had to cancel their show when they realized no one was going to come see them. I took a look at their cancelation and talked about how at the time the average lifespan of a SoCal indy promotion is three years (now there are almost 10 promotions at a decade or more).

    I had tickets to that show at the Grand Oly. Sure, they were comps, but I had them. I probably still have them somewhere
