More entrants announced for the 2016 Battle of Los Angeles

Pro Wrestling Guerrilla has announced more entrants for the 2016 Battle of Los Angeles tournament, set to take place on September 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.

The thirteenth entrant in the 2016 Battle of Los Angeles is former PWG World Champion Chris Hero. This will be Hero’s seventh Battle of Los Angeles tournament, having made it to the finals on three occasions losing to Low Ki in 2008, Joey Ryan in 2010, and Zack Sabre Jr. in 2015.

The fourteenth entrant in the 2016 Battle of Los Angeles is Mark Andrews. This will be Andrews’ second Battle of Los Angeles tournament, after making his PWG debut in the 2015 edition of the tournament, where he lost in the first round to Will Ospreay.

The fifteenth entrant in the 2016 Battle of Los Angeles tournament is Ricochet. This will be Ricochet’s fourth Battle of Los Angeles tournament. Ricochet was also the winner of the 2014 Battle of Los Angeles.

The sixteenth entrant in the 2016 Battle of Los Angeles tournament is Matthew Riddle. This will be his first Battle of Los Angeles tournament, and also Riddle’s PWG debut. Riddle is a former Mixed Martial Arts fighter, having previously competed in the UFC. After retiring from MMA, Riddle began his professional wrestling career in 2015 and has competed for EVOLVE recently.
