Welcome to another edition of SoCal News & Notes. Today we have information on upcoming shows from PCW, Cen Cal Pro, Vendetta Pro, PWG, SoCal Pro, FMLL, and Baja Stars. Click for more.
PCW has added the following wrestlers to its June 4th show in Torrance: The Almighty Sheik, JR Kratos, Douglas James, Willie Mack, Joe Graves, Kevin Martenson, and Ryan Taylor. Previously announced were Scorpio Sky, Reno Scum, Timothy Thatcher, and Los Luchas. No matches have been announced yet.
Though he has not been officially announced, Brian Cage is scheduled to be on the show as well.
Yoshi Tatsu was originally booked for the show but was pulled due to contractual obligations to New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Cen Cal Pro Wrestling will be holding its next show on May 15th in San Luis Obispo. Sage Sin is scheduled to defend her Five-Cities Championship against “The Game-Changer” Greg Hernandez. They will also be holding a four team elimination rules match to determine the first Cen Cal Pro tag-team champions. Check the events page for more details.

Speaking of Cen Cal Pro, the next Vendetta Pro show on May 20th in Santa Maria there will be an inter-promotional six-man tag match featuring Billy Blade, Richie Slade and Kadin Anthony from Vendetta Pro taking on three wrestlers from Cen Cal Pro.

PWG will be announcing their next show “shortly”.

There is a big weekend coming up in the San Diego area on May 13th and 14th. On the 13th FMLL and LLME will be holding an event in Oceanside that features Blue Demon, L.A. Park, Rey Misterio H.D., Hijo L.A. Park, and Solar. Then the next night both SoCal Pro and Baja Stars will be running shows. No lineup has been announced for the SoCal Pro show in Oceanside. Baja Stars will see Teddy Hart and Engima take on Steve Pain and Bestia 666 in the main event.

Thursday April 21st will mark the 15th anniversary of the XPW show “Scene of the Crime” that had Super Dragon taking on Rising Son in the opener, and introduced them to a larger audience. Look out for a column by Andrew on Thursday to mark the anniversary.
