Pacific Coast Wrestling (PCW) announced on Facebook that they finally have everything ready & announced their first event. This was what they said on their facebook:
“Release the Kraken” to Take Place January 9th in Torrance, CA
Los Angeles, CA, October 29, 2015 – Pacific Coast Wrestling (PCW) announced today that its debut professional wrestling event, “Release the Kraken”, will take place January 9, 2016 at the Oak Street Gym Facility in Torrance, CA.
“We searched for 6 months for the right building,” stated Mike Scharnagl, Director of PCW. “Our goal was always to bring professional wrestling to the South Bay and the Oak Street Gym provides us with a great facility for our events.”
“We are excited to have PCW at our facility,” commented John-Pierre Abilla, Owner of Pump It Up of Torrance and Oak Street Gym, “They have certainly generated a great deal of excitement around their brand so we look forward to being a part of their debut event.”
With an homage to the 80s cult movie classic, Clash of the Titans, PCW intends for “Release the Kraken” to be the unleashing of an exciting, hard-hitting brand of professional wrestling in the Southern California area.
“Our events will feature some wrestlers Los Angeles wrestling fans probably haven’t seen, as well as a few surprises,” commented Scharnagl.
Further details regarding the event and card will be forthcoming. A second event is also already planned for March 26, 2016 at Oak Street Gym.
