This is Draven UnScripted with a full recap of the Alternative Wrestling Show’s “Summer Heat #4” event from the American Legion in South gate, Ca on Saturday, July 20th 2013.
The show kicks off with Diablo talking about the last month’s show & his involvement with Buggy Nova, Sage Sinn & Candice LaRea. Since the incident, AWS Women’s Champion Christine Von Eerie has been in contact with Diablo & giving him an ultimatum..choose Buggy & Sage or her. Diablo said that despite his feelings for Sage Sinn, he chooses Von Eerie & will be by her side when she returns in September. And now onto the action:
Cedric the Hitman & Terex (w Jesse “Jok” Nahara) defeated The Plague & Dragon mask while 
being lifted, Cedric delivered a kick & Terex powerbombed Dragon mask for the victory.
AWS Lightweight Championship
El Ridiculoso defeated “The Mirror Image” Ricky Mandel (w/Goldigger) by DQ when Goldigger clotheslined Ridiculoso downward from the top rope after she had enough of Ridiculoso trying to cop a feel throughout the match to retain the championship.
Hudson Envy (w/Mondo Vega) defeated “The Blood Thirsty Vixen” Mariah Moreno when Sage Sinn distracting Moreno allowing Envy to hit an spinning back suplex (Angle Slam) on Moreno for the 3 count. Afterwards, Hudson Envy continue to beat on Mariah Moreno until Candice LaRea came out & the two ladies brawled until officials came out to seperate them.
Chis Kadillac (w/ Mondo vega) defeated Hector Canales (w/Biggie Biggz) when Mikey O’shea got involved & chokeslammed Hector allowing Kadillac to hit a Frog Spash for the 3 count in this hard fought but entertaining match.
Ryan Taylor defeated Tyler Bateman with a Cloverleaf submission
AWS Tag Team Championship
PPRAY (Pretty Peter Avalon & Ray Rosas) defeated SOCAL CRAZY & Che Cabrera when Avalon 
deliver his Martinis finisher & a kick to the back of the head on Cabrera to retain the tag team championship. Afterwards, PPRAY celebrated their hard fought victory in true fashion by grinding the tag team championships in the middle of the ring…Hilarious.
Candice LaRea defeated MsChif by DQ when Hudson Envy attacked LaRea. After the beatdown, Envy received the green mist from MsChif in the ring & blinding her. The fans were chanting “BS” for the finished & demanded that the two ladies continue for 5 more mins. The match restarted & Candice LaRea defeated MsChif with a Spinning Neckbreaker for a clean victory.
Afterwards, Candice, MsChif & Daffney raised their arms in victory for the fans inside the American Legion Post but as MsChif & Daffney left the ring, Mondo Vega came in & blindsided Candice. After officials pulled Vega off of LaRea, AWS owner Bart Kapitzke grabbed the mic & said that he’s sick of these attacks on Candice LaRea from Vega, Envy & Sin. He announced that at their next show on Aug. 24th, it will be Candice LaRea vs Huson Envy in a Hardcore ladies Match which upsets Vega but the fans cheered.
Main Event: Triple Threat Match for the AWS Heavyweight Championship
Little Cholo defeated Scorpio Sky(w/Heather Lynn) & Willie Mack when Cholo nailed a Double 
Foot Stomp onto a layed out Willie Mack for the victory thus retaining the AWS Championship.
This is my 1st AWS show I have seen in some time as I was use to attend the AWS shows when they were being held in the City of Industry. But AWS put on a very solid show this evening as I enjoyed every match from top to bottom. The talent who competed at this show gave the fans their blood, sweat & tears & I believe we got our moneys worth. AWS being a promotion with over a decade in Southern California continues to provide the fans with some of the great wrestling action & I want to personally thank AWS & Bart Kapitzke for having me at their show. But it makes it very difficult to choose my Match of the Night because every match brought something to the table that I really enjoyed but I choose these matches as my top matches:
Hudson Envy vs Mariah Moreno
Ryan Taylor vs Tyler Bateman
Cholo vs Sky vs Mack
Envy/Moreno: These ladies brought their “A” game to this match which in turn complimented each other in the ring with their stiff shots & technical wrestling. Envy got plenty of heat & Moreno got the cheers from the crowd this evening. Plus with adding Mondo Vega & Sage Sinn along with Candice, this feud will continue on for months to come. Well done ladies…very well done.
Taylor/Bateman: Your classic wrestling match as these two guys when hold for hold & counter for counter in this very technical & hard fought match. Both men had some great chemistry with each other seeming that they’re cut from the same mold. Overall a fantastic match, congrats to both men.
Cholo/Mack/Sky: All 3 men left it all on the line in this great triple threat match up. Willie Mack 
& Scorpio Sky have had tremendous matches throughout Southern California but adding another veteran in Little Cholo to the mix made this match diverse. All 3 men put on a solid match which showcased their individual talents as well as plenty of high spots & fighting on the outside. With Heather Lynn trying to get involved in this match only to be taken out in the match with a unique reverse jumping cradle driver from Cholo sets up a possible feud with Sky as he carried Heather Lynn away from ringside & stared down Cholo after the match.
Overall..another great show from everyone at AWS. If you haven’t had the opportunity in seeing Alternative Wrestling Show then you’re missing out.
