This is Draven UnScripted with a recap on the UIPW Lucha Libre show at the East LA Boys & Girls club in Los Angeles, Ca.
Oso Loco & Buddy Love defeated Rey Volcan Jr. & Freddy HellMuth when Volcan accidentally hit Muth with his Singapore Cane allowing Oso to hit a Two Handed Chokeslam driver on Muth for the 3 count. After the match, Muth & Volcan were arguing about the outcome of the match.
Bionico & Jaguar de Oro defeated Sombra Infernal & “The Real Man” Hector Canales when Bionico got the roll up pin with an assist from Oro.
Thunderwolf & Warhog defeated Los Luchas (Zokre & Phoenix Star) with the referee distracted by Warhog, Robby Phoenix hit Zokre with a chair & which allowed Thunderwolf to get the pinfall. After the match, the fans booed Robby Phoenix as he was trying to talk to Los Luchas for a possible match down the road.
Time for Intermission & it gave the fans an opportunity to meet AAA Star Extreme Tiger as he signed autographs & posed for pictures.
Los Bandidos (Tito Escondido & Rico Dynamite) & Suburban Commandos (D-unit & T-rant) ended in a double count out. But both teams continued to brawl around ringside until they were seperated.

This was my 1st UIPW event I attended & I must say I was impressed. The Boys & Girls club was almost a packed house. Overall the show was pretty good all around with everyone giving it 100% in their respected matches which gave the fans a good show. But with all shows I attend, I look for my Match of the Night & these matches I felt were the show stealers:
Thunderwolf/Warhog vs Los Luchas
Bandidos vs Suburban Commandos
Team Mexico vs Team USA
Lestat, Misterioso, Extreme Tiger & Hijo de Rey Misterio vs El Infornal, Little Cholo, OG Playboy & Shamu Jr.
Los Luchas/Thunderwolf & Warhog matchup was very good. The high flying manuvers from Los Luchas against a Powerful Warhog & Technical Thunderwolf gave fans an interesting matchup. All four men showed great chemistry with one another & adding the swerve at the end involving Robby Phoenix will give the fans a new chapter in this new rivalry.
Bandidos/Commandos was a total power match meaning that we have four big guys doing whatever it took to wear down the other. This matchup was a stiff match (Chops, Clotheslines, slams, etc) but I enjoyed the storytelling in this matchup. Plus with the match ending in a Double Countout, I hope to see this feud continue on maybe leading to a specialty match like a Tornado Tag match or Tables match sometime down the road.
Team Mexico vs Team USA had a little bit of everything…High Flying, Technical & Entertainment (by Rubi Gardenia). This match was fought inside & outside the ring, using the seats around ringside, Team USA’s El Jefe getting involved, etc. Everyone had a great feel in this match, good chemistry, storytelling & ring awareness. The fans were solely behind Team Mexico & booed Team USA throughout the match. Overall a great match by all competitors.
The Main Event was a Traditional Lucha Libre 3 round matchup showcasing 8 great stars. A lot of High flying, high spots in this matchup as well as wrestling outside the ring were “The Rudos” or Heels used to their advantage. The fans was given a great match featuring the UIPW stars but having AAA stars Hijo de Rey Misterio & Extreme Tiger made this match over the top. In the end whether you cheered for the “Technico’s or booed the “Rudos”, all 8 men left it all on the line to make sure the fans left happy which I personally feel they did.
Overall, UIPW put on a great show & I hope to be able to attend another show sometime down the road. If you would like to see more photos from this event, visit the SoCalUncensored Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/socaluncensored/photos_albums
