SoCal Pro Wrestling: March Madness

Escondido Sport & Fitness
Escondido, CA

1. Jimmy Ray Walker & Vance Lamborghini defeated “Lovin” Nick Lovin & C-Love.

2. Ric Ellis defeated Ryan Kidd via submission to a Crossface.

3. Angel Santos, who made his SCP return defeated “The Polish Tyrant” Andre Machievski after using a Fireman’s carry double knee gutbuster.

4. SCP Tag Team Championship: Damage Control (Destro & Duke) (c) defeated Nick Madrid & Todd Chandler to retain the SCP Tag Team Titles. As the referee was checking on Todd Chandler on the outside of the ring, Destro nailed Nick Madrid in the head with one of the SCP Tag Team Titles and put his tag team partner, Duke, on top of Nick Madrid for the pin and another successful title defense.

5. Pulpo Dorado scored a huge upset win on the former two-time AWS Heavyweight Champion Johnny Paradise. After the match, Johnny Paradise was angry about his loss and took out not only Pulpo Dorado, but Referee Everett Scott, Ryan Kidd, and Ethan Reed as well. Johnny Paradise did not stop his assault on these people until SoCal Crazy ran into the ring with a chair and made Johnny Paradise vacate the ring. Later in the night, Troy Stone announced to the SCP fans that Johnny Paradise has been suspended indefinitely by SoCal Pro Wrestling.

6. Joey “The Bone” Barone defeated “Rock ‘n’ Roll Rebel Soul” Johnny Yuma after a low blow to Yuma behind the referee’s back.

7. SCP Heavyweight Champion Kid Caramba & SoCal Crazy defeated The Mirror Image Megastars (Ricky Mandel & Tommy Wilson). Kid Caramba used an armbar on Tommy Wilson and forced him to tap out. Also, Chimaera tried to interfere and cost Caramba and Crazy the match. However, SoCal Crazy hit a suicide dive between the ropes and continued to pummel on the masked man near the ring entrance. Due to what transpired in the tag team main event, Tommy Wilson challenged current SCP Heavyweight Champion Kid Caramba to a rematch for the SCP Heavyweight Championship.

At SoCal Pro Wrestling’s 5-Year Anniversary Event on April 21st, Kid Caramba will put the heavyweight title on the line in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match. SoCal Crazy issued a challenge of his own to the masked man known as Chimaera and wants their heated rivalry to end.
