BTWNCHAOSNORDER’S gives a recap of EWF’s Event on March 4th 2012 8/12 from the the Knights of Columbus Hall, Covina, CA. Good Sunday Night crowd at the hall for this show.
1 – Chowder p. Ein Idol (w/ Dave The Bruiser & Crystal Michelle) w/ a Reverse STO, and ate a Spear from Dave The Bruiser for it.
2 – Ashley Hollywood (w/ Tommy Wilson) “incapacitated” Tab Jackson w/ the Sleeper Hold, and she did alot of screaming throughout the match.
3 – 5-min. for $500 Challenge Match. Killa Gorilla p. The Mexican Warrior w/ a Gorilla Press Slam, almost like Wade Barrett’s Wasteland, in 3:46.
4 – The A-List (Jeremy Jaeger & Roger Ruiz) successfully defended the EWF Tag Team Championship, def. Anchors Away (David E. Jones & Ryan Stone). Great match between the current tag team champions & a pair of former tag team champions who had closed the doors on NWPW the previous night. Jeremy Jaeger p. Ryan Stone w/ the One Night Stand.
* During intermission, Christian Cole came out to find one EWF wrestler to take to the top, and called out Joshua Dunbar. Dunbar, though, made his “statement of denial” by unloading on Cole, then embraced the acknowledgement of the fans.
5 – No-DQ match for the EWF American Championship after intermission. Tommy Wilson (w/ Ashley Hollywood) won the title, p. Mike Maze after knocking him out w/ the title belt to take advantage of distraction by his “Mega-Queen”.
SM – Alex Koslov p. SoCal Crazy after kicking him hard in the nuts behind the back of Referee Christopher Lee after he unmasked SoCal Crazy. Good gimmick-based semi-main nonetheless.
M – Johnny Starr got the DQ-win over Brandon Gatson to retain the EWF Heavyweight Championship, as a result of Gatson failing to heed the 5-count ropebreak while putting Johnny in his signature Armbreaker. A brief scuffle w/ the staff later, EWF Deputy Commissioner Marty Elias suspended him indefinitely.
