Jay Cal’s View #58

Another week filled with big action, but the biggest news of the week is the announcement of New Wave shutting it down, however another promotion is opening up, in Yuciapa, news on my TalkNWA podcast, updates with our social media and a bit of congrats to the Future Legend Nominees, plus we’ve got this week’s deep line up of wrestling action.

New Wave Pro Wrestling Calls it Quits…
Last Friday I stumbled across a huge oversight in my Jay Cal’s View, realizing I accidentally left New Wave off my list of up-coming schedule. Not only did I feel like a dope, but I got a message from someone with New Wave informing me that their was to be a “Very Special Announcement” made at the show. Never did I expect the announcement was going to be the closing of New Wave. I regret that I never made it out to a New Wave show, but they are certainly giving me every reason to make the final show. Already announced its big line up. Make sure you get out to the Clairemont Boys and Girls Club and say good-bye to a great promotion on March 3rd. Thanks to Andrew and Trevor.

New Promotion debuting in Yuciapa
HQ Pro is holding their premier event, with a lot of very familiar names. In addition to the long standing Empire Wrestling Federation and the new Alpha Omega, the Inland Empire is really starting to take off. If anyone is attendance, please send in your results to Jay.Cal@SoCalUNCENSORED.com. Best of luck to the newest addition to SoCal.

TalkNWA
I’d like to give a bit of thanks for everyone for tuning into the Talk NWA Podcast. Although the show is about the NWA, we cover all the NWA affiliated promotions here in Southern California, including NWA Hollywood, SoCal Pro, Empire Wrestling Federation, and Mach-1 Wrestling. This weekend is our free for all episode where we’re looking for your calls. (646) 478-3019. Plus we’ll be playing some interviews from NWA Hollywood’s past television taping with Famous B. Of course you can listen to the archive at www.talknwa.com
