MyTake

For those of you who haven’t heard of World Of Hurt the best way I can describe it is, a Canadian Version of Tough Enough.  It isn’t backed by any major wrestling promotion, but is backed by Lance Storm.  One the first season, Tom LaRuffa was one of the contestants.  LaRuffa spent a few months working for AWS a a few years back.  2010 Rookie of the Year Award Nominee Nick Madrid was previously trained by Lance Storm, but this show obviously puts a bigger spotlight.  I know there were a lot of local snubs in the last Tough Enough casting, but this might be an opportunity for local talents to gain greater exposure.  I hope all our local workers at least inquire in this opportunity.

[CORRECTION]

Lance Storm will not be a part of the next edition of World Of Hurt.  Which is really too bad.  I still think of this as an excellent opportunity for SoCal Wrestlers to gain some national exposure.
