M1W Tag Team Championship: RockNES Monsters vs. Peter Avalon/Mr. Biggz
The Monsters finally shook the monkey off their backs from their disappointing loss to Natural Selection in the finals of the tag tournament by overcoming the teams of Shawn Rickers and Johnny Paradise and former NWA World Tag Team Champs Los Luchas at Slam ‘N Jam to become the second M1W tag team champions. Avalon and Biggz have been dominant since their pairing, scoring an upset win over Joey “Magnum” Ryan and his (former) manager, C. Edward Vanderpyle at the same event. Avalon and Biggz feel like it is their time, while the fun loving Monsters intend on continuing to prove that they are a team to be taken seriously.
Andrew Hellman vs. Cedric the Hitman
Hellman suffered a controversial lost at last weeks Friday Fight Night to the debuting Paradise thanks to the outside interference his running buddy Cedric the Hitman. Hellman looks not only to exact his revenge, but to clear the path to avenging his loss to Paradise en route to the M1W Championship.
Jacob Diez vs. Johnny Paradise
Diez has caught fire since his renaissance in Mach-1, and is coming off of a huge victory at Slam ‘N Jam” against SoCal vet Disco Machine. He’ll have to grow eyes in the back of his head to look for the short-handed tactics common from Paradise, and you can be sure that where Paradise is, Cedric the Hitman isn’t far away.
Mikey Callahan vs. Terex
Mikey let his anger and inexperience get the better of him, squandering his chance at revenge by tossing Kyle Webb over the top rope, thus getting himself disqualified at Slam ‘N Jam. Mikey had better shake the disappointment of his loss and have his head in the game if he hopes to overcome his biggest challenge yet in the returning Terex.
