2006 is in the books, and what a book we wrote here at NWA Pro Wrestling! Over 100 live events were held in 7 U.S. States and 2 Australian Provinces. Over 340 different wrestlers stepped foot in NWA Pro rings. Fighters battled for dozens of championships (regional, national and NWA World Titles) and competed in 7 major tournaments. All told, it was a record year for our company and we sincerely thank all those who helped make it possible!

Fans who have been following the action know that no one does it like NWA Pro! This Sunday the stars of NWA Pro Wrestling Showcase will be back at Coconuts with an 11AM start time. Now that the holidays are over, the regular schedule of the Showcase on Mav TV and mavtv.com is set to resume. Come out and see the action LIVE! The National Wrestling Alliance returns to Arizona!
The hottest wrestling under the Arizona sun belongs to Rising Phoenix Wrestling! With such stars as “XXX” Lawrence Tyler, the Hawaiian Lion, Jack Durango and more, as well as NWA Pro regulars Joey Ryan, Frankie Kazarian, Human Tornado, etc. not one fan left a RPW event anything less than thrilled last year. This year they can expect the same and more as NWA Pro will be co-promoting and sanctioning all RPW events! The first collaboration will be Saturday January 27 at the Broadway Rec Center in Mesa, AZ. Alternative Wrestling Show Returns on Jan 28th!
NWA Pro Wrestling action returns to the Alternative Wrestling Show on January 28th at 1PM. Bart’s new AWS Shop has gotten off to a great start and so did the action with the December event across the street from the Frank ‘N’ Sons Arena. The next AWS Event looks to be even bigger and better! Already confirmed are Joey Ryan, Karl Anderson, Bo Cooper & Sexy Chino, Al Katrazz (w/Vander Pyle), Lil’ Cholo, Scorpio Sky, Human Tornado, The Young Bucks, Los Luchas & Nikki, Tommy Wilson, Disco Machine and more! Double Honors for Joey Harder in EWF!
NWA Pro Wrestling kicked off the year with a fantastic event in Covina, CA featuring the finals of the Inland Empire Series. Joey Harder won the series in an amazing match over TJ Perkins, earning Harder a future shot at the EWF Championship. Reigning EWF Champion Bino Gambino then beat Human Tornado in what was scheduled to be the main event of the evening. Gambino had recently been acknowledged for spending more time as EWF Champion than anyone else in the company’s 10 year history. Immediately after defeating Tornado, Gambino found himself being challenged by Harder. One submission to a Lion Tamer later and Harder not only was the Inland Empire tournament winner, but also the EWF Heavyweight Champion! How will this effect Harder’s status as EWF Tag Team Champion with Hook Bomberry? Find out as the two put their championship on the line January 26th against the Young Bucks – Nick & Matt Jackson! Summer Heats Up Down Under!
Both EPW-Perth and EPW-Adelaide are preparing for legendary confrontations as Summer is in full swing in Australia. On January 20th in Maylands, W.A., EPW-Perth returns with “Hot Summer’s Night!” EPW Champion Jimmy Payne takes on Jamie Jurah in non-title action. AZ Vegara and Chris Vice meet in a Grudge Match. “Psychofett” Ferguson Block battles Rusty Evans, James Street steps in against “The All-Star” Brad West and Shane Haste, Mikey Nicholls, Davis Storm (one half of the EPW Tag Team Champions) and Devlin Reeves compete in a 4-Way Dance for the #1 Contendership!
Then the action shifts south as EPW-Adelaide holds “Road to Glory” on February 10th in Clovelly Park, S.A. Only one match has been announced, but it should be a barnburner as the other half of the EPW Tag Team Champions, Hartley Jackson, goes one-on-one with Damian Slater.
