Last December, Vendetta Pro Wrestling held one of it’s “Vendetta Pro Underground” events, which is a show held at the Vendetta Pro Academy training facility, featuring many of the young stars as well as Vendetta Pro trainees. A small but loyal crowd attends these monthly shows, and as a treat, they witnessed a surprise match for the Vendetta Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Championship as Sunami challenged Shannon Ballard. For less than thirty seconds, Sunami had the belt in his hands after having pinned Shannon Ballard. However, the referee noticed that Ballard’s foot was on the bottom rope, and restarted the match. Moments later, Ballard escaped the training facility with the title. Upon review by the Office of the Commissioner of Vendetta Pro Wrestling, Christian Cole discovered video evidence which proves that Ballard’s foot was placed on the bottom rope by Billy Blade–after the three count had taken place. While the Commissioner does not have the power to reverse an official’s decision (without proof of misconduct on the part of the official), he does have the power to make a rematch. Originally, on an episode of Vendetta Pro Radio, Christian Cole stated that he would grant a rematch and that if Sunami had won, he would be given another shot at the title. However, since then, the Commissioner’s Office has ruled that the title will be on the line in this match at Reflexion 2012. Sunami stated that it was his “Su Year’s Resolution” to become Vendetta Pro Champion. Can he once again pin Ballard and become the new Vendetta Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Champion, or will Ballard once again escape with the belt?

This saga has been brewing for months, as the young up-and-comer J.D. Horror has been on a quest to bring violence back to professional wrestling, while attempting to make an example out of the veteran Bo Cooper. It was Horror who cost Cooper a match for the Vendetta Pro Heavyweight title. Then, last October at Terror Rising, J.D. Horror literally drew first blood by brutally assaulting the big man, using a steel chair and a pizza cutter. Horror has said that Cooper is old and washed-up, but at Terror Rising, Horror awakened not an OLD Bo Cooper… but THE old Brawlin’ Bo! In some ways, J.D. Horror has gotten his wish by bringing back the psychotic, ultra-violent version of Bo Cooper. However, the old saying goes “be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.” At Reflexion 2012, there will be no rules, no regulations, and nothing stopping these two men from spilling massive amounts of blood and committing several otherwise arrestable offenses. This match may go down as the single, most violent in the history of Vendetta Pro Wrestling. Somehow, it seems neither man would have it any other way.
