What Socal Federation do You Miss the Most?

Just curious to see what others still miss, here's my list

1. Xtreme Pro Wrestling (XPW) - Rob Black/ Kevin Kleinrock
2. Millennium Pro Wrestling (MPW) - Paul Ventimiglia
3. Golden State Championship Wrestling (GSCW) - Henry Luna
4. Epic Pro Wrestling (EPIC) - Gary Yap

EPIC for sure. I just saw "For The Messiah" and "International Collision" again
and I really enjoyed them. Their TV Show on KJLA was a lot of fun. Too bad it was only 1/2 hour. They had good technical matches and were not afraid to take it to the hardcore level.

MPW...although I don't miss the drive to Woodland Hills. But at the same time, as has been previously said, PWG has managed to do a good job of continuing on the same path as MPW, so all's well that end's well.

Man, who cares about any of this shit seriously? PWG is better than all these feds. I don't see how anyone could miss EPIC. PWG is like EPIC except without the shit wrestlers they used and actual good booking & management.

Really.. I don't miss any of them right now. Not saying that I am glad they are gone or anything, but right now, the SoCal scene just fucking rocks the way it is. RevPro is getting better every show, AWS is starting to put on some awesome events, and PWG speaks for itself.

But I DO miss all the people bitching about Rob Black.

And sadly without those awesome New Jack monologues. New Jack getting in some guy's face and daring him to start shit while the guy just sits there shitting himself = win.

I don't really miss any of them. They were good for what they were when they were around, but they all left for their reasons that make me not miss them.

-edit-

The replacements that have come in the wakes of the departures have far surpassed the predecessors.

Exactly. It seems like since some of the 'big' promotions left SoCal, the smaller ones only got better.

I miss most of the promotions from about 4yrs ago. I miss UIWA, MPW, WPW when it was big, I miss CCW cause I never got to see a show. But mostly I miss this little fed that was some what how Bart's shows are today, well mixed with everything.

All-Star Championship Wrestling (ACW). This promotion was great and was over looked forever by most fans in So-Cal. It was run by Hollywood Stunt Man, Freddie Valentine and ran at the famous American Legion Hall, in Recida where EPIC ran after ACW stopped running shows. ACW showcased most of the top talents at the time on it's undercard, Cubans, Primetime Peterson, Ballards, Frankie and so on. Also had the "valley" talent like Crayz, Ric Drasin and even Cinncinati Red! I'm not a fan of Hardcore, but ACW always had a great way to entertain. The Main Events were so unique they will never be matched, like the "Explosion Match(a little board with some fireworks on it)", the "Electrocution Match", and the most famous of them all, THE ALAGATOR DEATH MATCH! All featuring the Stunt Man Valentine having his fun in front of So-cal regs and locals which made up his crowds. My first ACW show had Terry Funk in the main with Cinncinati Red, Valentine, and Mondo F'n Gurerro. Seeing Funk live in such an atmousphe was amazing. Ok, I'm done reminising.

Oh damn I totally forgot the last show they ran. One match they had was Super Boy vs. Hardkore Kidd(wearing his mask) where they set-up a Mask vs. Mask match even though Hardkore had been wrestling all over without his mask for a while. GREAT STUFF! The Main was Freddie Valentine vs. Abdullah the Butcher. In the end the whole locker room emptied and Abby forked half of it, including Jason Allgood. JASON ALLGOOD GOT FORKED BY ABBY! AMAZING!
