NWA Pro/Mach-1 “Friday Fight Night” 7/16/10 RESULTS
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=
NWA Pro/Mach-1 “Friday Fight Night” 7/16/10 RESULTS: Kyle Webb d. Jarek Matthews: Webb and manager David Troy returned to “Friday Fight Night” to get back on the winning track and did just that. In a hard fought match up, and a little help from Troy, Kyle Webb was able to edge out the victory. Scorpio Sky d. Tristan Archer: With a week away from the biggest match of his career, Scorpio Sky continues to take on all comers to properly prepare for Shelton Benjamin. This week, the newest face to M1W and Wrestling 101, Tristan Archer all the way from Paris France stepped up to the plate. Unfortunately for Archer, the preparation for Benjamin has Sky on the top of his game as the “King of Sting” gets the win. Sawada d. Jaysin Stryfe: Japanese superstar Sawada has come to the US and the NWA and challenged Oliver John in hopes of becoming the next NWA Heritage Champion, but first he had to take on Jaysin Stryfe. Stryfe, all the way from Iowa is no stranger to M1W competition, but was not prepared for Sawada’s brutal combination of wrestling and Judo skills. Mikey Callahan d. Brandon Parker by disqualification: In a contrast of styles, Callahan’s high impact moves against Parker’s array of strikes kept fans on the edge of their seat until Jason Watts came out and attacked Callahan. Mikey managed to fight back, but was halted by a big boot from “Big Nasty” to leave Callahan knocked out. Callahan might have got the victory, but Watts clearly has the edge right now. How will Callahan answer back? “Shiek” Ariya Daivari w/ David Troy d. Andrew Hellman: David Troy has added Daivari to DT Interprises and was impressive in his debut win over Andrew Hellman with his Flying Carpet finisher. After the match Kyle Webb came out and helped Troy and Daivari beat down Hellman and almost finished him off when Sawada came out to make the save. Nick Madrid d. “Pretty” Peter Avalon: The young Madrid got a win over Avalon when Brandon Parker came out and an attempted double team on Madrid ended in Parker accidentally hitting Avalon and Madrid scores the upset victory. Cedric the Hitman d. Jacob Diez: Jacob Diez, looking for revenge from being defeated the week before by the Hitman in tag team competition was edged out by James Morgan’s paid assassin. Leo Blaze & Josh Worthy d. The RockNES Monsters (Non-Title matchup): Worthy and Blaze, not long together as a team, scored a huge upset victory over the M1 Heritage Tag Team Champions the RockNES Monsters. Despite getting the victory took a hand full of tights, the win puts Blaze and Worthy into serious title contention, they however must wait till after “Centre City Slam” when the M1 Heritage Tag Team Championship will defended against Paul London and Brian Kendrick.
