WCWA's next show

: Frankie Kazarian vs. Al Katrazz
: Chip Adams vs. Pinoy Boy
: Dynamics vs. Ballard Bros.
: Primetime Peterson vs. Bigg Babbi Slymm
: B-Boy vs. "Iceman" John Black

I thought Slymm was the #1 contender for the California title based on his win over Black on the last show? Why isn't he facing Adams on this show then?

No "great" match ups here. Several decent ones. I think B-Boy vs Black could be pretty good.

Adam vs Joey Ryan was good on the last show and I consider Pinoy Boy better than Ryan, so logically this match should be good too.

Kazarian vs Katrazz should be decent. Kazarian doesn't have a lot of great face charisma so his reaction here will depend a lot on how well Katrazz does as a heel.

Ballards are a great tag team so maybe they can carry the Dynamics to an ok match.

Peterson vs Slymm will be interesting. Slymm is the most over wrestler in WCWA even though he isn't very good. We'll see if Peterson can carry him to something watchable, as Black almost did on the last show.

Hopefully Spanky and Joey Ryan are on the show in different matches. How about Spanky/Ryan vs Super Dragon/Rising Son. How about that!

They should follow up their previous show angle with some developments on that Street Style/Matrix/Mase Hardy/Other Guys angle that played out throughout the show should result in some match on this show.

It doesn't look like any of the matches on the last show lead to new ones on this show, which is a mistake. I think indies should have logical storylines. Slymm won #1 contendership on the last show, so now he should face Adams. It rewards the fans who saw the last show to see a storyline they saw in person be followed up on the next show. Similarly any angles on the last show should be followed up on the next.

I understand that Justin, but there is a limit to what a promotion can do if they only run every eight weeks. The crowd at WCWA doesn't really care about story much anyways, they like good guys and hate bad guys, and applaud for anything old school.

I think WCWA should do a storyline about me and "McCord Jr." from the last show.

Actually WCWA and CWA are two different promotions.

The date for WCWA is March 29th at the VFW in Lemon Grove. I think it is a 7:00 PM belltime.

Thumbs down HERE WE GO AGAIN

HERE WE GO AGAIN, MAN DON'T YO HAVE ANYTHING BETTER TO DO. FROM SOMEONE THAT
A.DOESN'T WORK FOR OR IN A FED
B.DOESN'T WRITE OR BOOK FOR A FED
C.HAVE NEVER WRESTLED OT TRAINED TO WRESTLE
YOUR OPINION IS INSULTING. I KNOW THAT EVERYONE IS ENTITLED BUT PEOPLE DON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE. TO THEM YOU MIGHT BE SOME CREDIBLE PERSON (AND THAT MAKES ANY FED LOOK BAD) BUT YOUR NOT. YOU ARE THE KIND OF PERSON THAT MAKES EVERY WRESTLER WISH THAT WRESTLING WAS NEVER EXPOSED. DO YOU KNOW THAT 4 YEARS AGO YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN BEATEN TO A BLOODY PULP. NO I'M SORRY YOU WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN CAUSE YOU WOULD HAVE STILL BELIEVED THE WHOLE SHOW. BE THANKFUL FOR THE FACT THAT YOU HAVE BEEN LET IN ON THE SECRET. I MEAN YOU HAVE A DECENT WRESTLING MIND AND SOME OF YOUR POSTS ARE INFORMATIVE BUT AS ALL GOOD JOURNALISTS KNOW YOU SHOULD WRITE ABOUT THE FACTS AND LEAVE OUT YOUR GOD AWEFUL OPINIONS. YOU YOURSELF HAVE SEEN THE PRODUCT WE PUT ON AND THE FANS REACTION( YOU REMEMBER THE FANS, THE PEOPLE WE PUT THE SHOW ON FOR) IF A WRESTLER FALLS DOWN YOU SAY IT'S A BLOWN SPOT, BUT IF IT GETS THE FANS RABID AND CHEERING THEN PAYBE FALLING DOWN IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO. YOU OBVIOUSLY HAVE VISITED MELTZER'S SITE WAY TOO OFTEN. YOU KNOW IF YOU AND METLZER RAN THE WRESTLING WOULD.....THERE WOULD'NT BE ONE.
SORRY FOT THE RANT BUT SOMEONE HAS GOT TO SET THIS GUY STRAIGHT. IN FACT NEXT SHOW YOU'LL GET A CHANCE TO SEE WHAT BEING A PART OF " THE SHOW" FEELS LIKE.......

A couple of things

1) Who is this little rant directed at?

2) Does your computer have spell check?

3) Why is everyone keeping caps lock on today?

Ric & Vic?

Man you guys (especially the one that wrote this post) are crazy...

: here we go again, man don't yo have anything better to do.

I'm talking about your fed, bringing it attention, and you insult me. Smart guy.

: from someone that
: a.doesn't work for or in a fed

That's good for me; means I am impartial, unlike you.

: b.doesn't write or book for a fed

Good for me, means I'm impartial again.

: c.have never wrestled ot trained to wrestle

In a different argument, this could be of some value, but since we're talking about storylines and booking, it means nothing here. One doesn't need wrestling experience to be a good booker or writer (Sam Muchnick was the NWA's greatest President and never stepped foot in the ring, Vince McMahon Jr. lead the WWF to success for nearly 20 years before wrestling, Mrs. Baba was second in command throughout the 70s and 80s in AJPW without ever attempting anything like wrestling).

: your opinion is insulting. i know that everyone is entitled but
: people don't know who you are.

People know exactly who I am: a fan.

: to them you might be some credible person (and that makes
: any fed look bad) but your not.

Whether or not my posts are credible depends on two things:

1) Do I tell the truth when concerning facts?

2) Do my opinions and predictions make sense and have validity?

It's up to the people that read to figure those out.

: you are the kind of person that makes every wrestler wish that
: wrestling was never exposed.

Every wrestler? Nah, there's actually a number of wrestlers that don't mind what I say, hell, even support what I say.

: do you know that 4 years ago you would have been beaten to
: a bloody pulp.

For criticizing a storyline? 4 years ago was 1998, remember. The WON and Torch had been around for over a decade each and the internet had been booming for several years. It was much the same situation 4 years ago as it is now.

Let's just say you're confused and meant 14 years.

: no i'm sorry you wouldn't have been cause you would have still
: believed the whole show.

I knew wrestling was fake in both 1998 (obviously) and 1988.

: be thankful for the fact that you have been let in on the secret.

Every fan alive knows its fake.

Every fan that posts to this message board is "in" on even more.

: i mean you have a decent wrestling mind and some of your
: posts are informative but as all good journalists know you
: should write about the facts and leave out your god aweful
: opinions.

Shows how much you know about journalism. There's often just as much opinion as fact in journalism. Go read your local newspaper for evidence.

: you yourself have seen the product we put on and the fans
: reaction( you remember the fans, the people we put the show
: on for)

Like me, a fan.

: if a wrestler falls down you say it's a blown spot, but if it gets
: the fans rabid and cheering then paybe falling down is the right
: thing to do.

True enough, if blowing a spot could get the crowd rabid and cheering, I'd say its the thing to do. Of course, I can't think of a blown spot, in itself, doing that. (Great Sasuke's blown springboard rana at the 94 Jcup was turned into a good spot by Jushin Liger's improvisation)

: you obviously have visited meltzer's site way too often. you
: know if you and metlzer ran the wrestling would.....there
: would'nt be one.

Why?

: sorry fot the rant but someone has got to set this guy straight.

You really aren't the guy to do it on SCU's board. You're just embarassing yourself and WCWA by making such a poor post in public.

Was my post vindictive or harmful to WCWA? Of course not. I was criticizing the booking in a constructive way. You getting bent out of shape only reflects poorly on you and your fed, not me.

: in fact next show you'll get a chance to see what being a part
: of " the show" feels like.......

Is that a threat? Do I have to remind you that I am a paying fan? Are you in the business of chasing away fans, thus, chasing away your money stream? That's not very good business in addition to just being plain stupid.

Justin (trying to remember the last time the booker of UPW, XPW, RevPro, MPW, EWF, or WPW came on SCU's board to attack a fan over their criticism of a card's booking)

Unhappy Come on guy's

I want to apologize for that rant. We need to get off the "your opinion don't mean shit", everyone is entitled to there view. By responding in such manner you are saying that what Justin says really does matter to you and thus contradicting yourself. I for one have not agreed with most of what Justin says on this board but I would never try and keep him or discourage him from saying what he feels. That is the object of these boards. And by posting as WCWA, you are representing all the workers that wrestle there. I have had disagreements with Justin in the past but I would never purposely single him out at a show and try and hurt him(minus the finger). Let's all be professional here and stick to putting on the best product we can.

Liar!

Not only did the finger hurt, but the kick to the back of the knee hurt even more. Now, we all know I walked out of WCWA seemingly looking fine but I was just putting on a show. Must always look strong in the face of your enemy, you know. I've been in a wheelchair ever since. I now fear the very notion of going to WCWA.

I don't fear the Dynamics. I picture one each coming from different sides, yelling incomprehensible war cries, with me then side stepping and them running into each other. Much laughter would ensue.

But I do fear ANTI, and I definitely fear Kamikaze. Never in my long life have I witnessed such a fearsome specimen. Beware of Kamikaze, friends, he is a wicked being.

Justin (recalls being offered a comp to a WCWA show by the Dynamics after some anti-WCWA criticism, now they want to beat me up)

recant

We the members of WCWA apolgize for the personal opinions of one man. the message he wanted to convey was that people should take responsibilty for their statements. We, at no time meant to threaten Justin Crast with any physical harm. We understand you are a paying customer, but when you are running with the intend are entertaining the fans, money is secondary. We, apologize to any workers who may have been offended by the comments posted. When one works so hard to put on an entertaining card, criticizm by one who really has no right criticizm is very hard to swallow. But it is not our place to comment on that on any board, so for that we again apologize. We would like to offer Justin Crast a complimentary ticket to the next show and assure him that his participation will be on a fan level only. In the future the poster will leave his opinions to himself and only promote the show, the wrestlers, and the promotion.

I love it when wrestlers and bookers say that "opinions don't mean shit", yet they read and respond on the SCU messageboard.

Kinda like Ric Drasin's column displayed ON THE INTERNET of how the Internet destroyed wrestling...

Oh what irony.

HAHAHAA, I love that line. Translation: Half a dozen wrestlers are gonna jump Justin Crast in the parking lot. Sad huh.

Alright...

1) WCWA meant no physical harm to me. For now, Justin Crast is safe from the beatings of many wrestlers.

2) . the message he wanted to convey was that people should take responsibilty for their statements. I take responsibility for everything I say. I'm willing to admit when I am wrong and take resposibility for what my words cause.

3) criticizm by one who really has no right criticizm is very hard to swallow. I'm not sure why I have no right to criticize. This idea has yet to make sense to me.

4) Spanky vs Jason Allgood. Good match up. I think this could probably be the best on the show. I like this and Black vs B-Boy the best on paper.

5) We would like to offer Justin Crast a complimentary ticket to the next show and assure him that his participation will be on a fan level only. Free ticket isn't necessary, but who am I to turn down free stuff.

6) In the future the poster will leave his opinions to himself and only promote the show, the wrestlers, and the promotion. I don't think there's anything wrong with a promoter stating some opinion on SCU, it just has to be smart. Paul V. has posted on SCU and no one has ever told him it was unwise what he posted. He's been complimented on what he's said, in fact. This WCWA post was just strangely worded, causing people to jump to conclusions, and it contained the age old "fans have no right to criticize argument" that's been proven wrong since the dawn of time. Just not smart.

7) Next year, the Bears will win the Super Bowl, coincidentally in San Diego, meaning I could watch it live. YEAH!

Justin

THE BEARS ARE GAY!

Bears win the Super Bowl? Well, that will be the day.! As comps go for this WCWA show, if I attend, I expect for my brother to get a comp, since he filled in as announcer out of no-where on the last show. If there is no comp for my brother, THERE WILL BE BLOOD SHED!!

Once again, the only way that the Bears would win is if they bring back they make another hit song and video like the "Super Bowl Shuffle."
