TUF 4 Finale card announced....

Granted we are still one episode shy of the full season but the UFC has already finalized the full card for TUF season 4's big finale which will air live Nov 11th on Spike TV from the Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas:

Main Event- Michael Bisping (11-0, in UFC 1-0) Vs Eric Schafer (4-1-2, in UFC 1-0)
The fight most people are probbaly eager to see is the return of heavy favorite TUF 3 LHW winner Bisping whose last fight in the UFC was actually his TUF 3 final win over Josh Haynes. Bisping was supposed to return to the octagon months ago but an injury during training sidelined that.
Eric Schafer is a submission fighter who made his UFC debut at UFC 62 with a arm triangle choke win over Rob macDonald. He has won all 4 of his fights by submission and may give the "Count" a tough fight

TUF WW final- Matt Serra (5-4, in UFC 4-4) Vs Chris Lytle (21-12-5, in UFC 2-4)
Matt Serra is probably one of the more colorful personalities in this season's TUF (of course a FAR second from Shonie Carter). Serra can also be connsidered probably one of the more well rounded fighters on the show with a good base of ju-jitsu, striking and takedown abilities as well as a tactical mind of the fighting game (he practically won the Carter/Clementi fight for Carter) . He has had a tough luck in the UFC of fighting some of the best fighters in the UFC (losses to BJ Penn, Karo parisyian but with wins over Ivan Menjivar and Yves Edwards). In the TUF competition Serra made short work of Pete Spratt and won an exciting rematch against Shonie Carter (probably the best fight on the show) but looked kinda sluggish during the latter part of the fight.
Chris Lytle is a strong submission fighter with a good striking range as well. In the UFC his wins have come by submission with his losses coming by deciison (and one cut short by a cut). During the show Lytle made short work of Pete Spratt and won a very competitive match against Din Thomas by decision. The match up probably favors the larger stronger Lytle but Serra is tough and has good submission defense which is Lytle's main offense.

TUF MW final- Travis Lutter Vs Patrick Cote/Edwin Dewees

Din Thomas (17-6, in UFC 2-2) Vs Rich Clementi (23-10-1, in UFC 0-1)
Din Thomas is a American Top Team member who has fought some of the toughest lightweights in the world (Azevedo, Suloev, Serra, Caol Uno, BJ Penn, Jens Pulver) and gained weight to compete at WW for the show. In the first round he took out Mikey Buirnett but then fell short to WW finalist Chris Lytle in what many believed was possibly the tougher fight that Thomas took.
Clementi is another former LW who has foguth some of the best around the world (especially in the ZST promotion in Japan). He has had only one fight in the UFC (which was a submission lost to Yves Eddwards) but has a very good combination of stiking and submission skills. His only fight in the TUF competition was na embarassing lost to Shonie Carter in the first round.

Undercard
Pete Spratt (14-7, in UFC 2-2) Vs Jeremy Jackson (8-4, in UFC 0-1)
Spratt has probbaly the worst rep going into life post TUF as he was defeated not ONCE but TWICE in the competition (when he filled in for AWOL fighter and NOW opponent Jeremy Jackson) losing to both TUF WW finalist Matt Serra and Pete Spratt.
Jeremy Jackson probably also has a pretty bad rep as he didnt even get to fight on TUF instead decided to run off for some nookie breaking the rules of the TUF show. His only fight in the UFC was a submission lost to Nick Diaz and now he gets to face the man who took his spot in the TUF competition Spratt...in what should be IMO on the main car for storyline purposes alone.

Scott Smith (9-2, 0-1) Vs Pete Sell (7-1, in UFC 1-1)
Young Scott Smith is a powerhouse who made his home in Gladiator Challenge and the World Extreem Cage fighting competition before coming to the UFC. His lost in TUF compeititon came to MW TUF finalist Travis Lutter in what many beleive was a fight he shouldnt have picked, he'll try to make it up against Pete Sell.
Pete "Drago" Sell (aka the best bud of Matt Serra) is a very well rounde fighter whose only lostr was suffered in the octagon against Nathan Quarry. Sell won his first fight in TUF against Charles McCarthy but then got out powered by the very aggressive Travis Lutter in the MW semifinal. This is another match with storyline fill as there was talk that Serra and Drago talked Smith into taking the fight with Lutter first so that Drago could make it into the finals.

Charles McCarthy (9-4, in UFC 0-1) in UFC Vs Gideon Ray (13-4-1, in UFC 0-2)
McCarthy is a submission specialist with all 9 of his wins by submission. His lone fight and lost in the UFC was against David Louiseau that probably everyone has seen on the highlight reel (it shows McCarthy flying back form a visiicous backspin kick). He lost to the powerfull Pete Sell in TUF compeition.
Gidieon Ray had the unfortunate task of fighting Edwin Dewees in his first fight in TUF where he cut opneed Dewees like a stuck pig....and then had to be bathed by Dewees blood for the whole damn fight. Many (even me) believed that the fight should have been stopped but it went on Dewees won because Ray was probably too grossed out by the gallons of blood lost. Ray will try to have a better showing against McCarthy

Thales Leites (9-0, UFC debut) Vs Martin Kampmann (13-2, in UFC 1-0)
Leites is a heavily touted fighter from brazil who has some amaazing ground game. While Kampmann is hailing from denmark with a very even mix of ground game but heavy hands. Kampmann made his UFc debuitat UFN 6 where he made short work of Crafton Wallace and submitted him by RNC.

Sadly the long awaited return of TUF seaosn 3 LHW winner Michael Bisping will be delayed once again (he had another figth scheduled earlier against Luke Cummo but was injured) citing visa issues. No replacement has been announced and more than likely with only a week left...probbaly Eric Schafer (Bisping's intended opponent will not fight). Which IMO this also means the show will probably not be as good as it could have been.

MW final- Travis Lutter (8-3, in UFC 1-2) Vs Patrick Cote (8-3, in UFC 0-3)
Lutter is a talented grappler who can swing when he needs to. He's taken out Marvin Eastman in his UFC debut but got beat by Matt Lindland and then lost a pretty bad match to Trevor Prangley before making his exit from the UFC. During the TUF he has looked pretty impressive but so has his opponent.
Cote was a heavily scouted figher from Canada who had a impressive 5 match win streak as well as winningthe TKO Lightheavyweight title before going into the UFC as a last minute repalcement to fight Tito Ortiz (his original opponentwas Metzger). Cote held his own against Ortiz but lost in a deciison. Cote was invited back twice tothe UFC but had no luck losing to Joe Doerksen and losing a very close fight against Chris Leben. Before Cote popped up for the TUF show his last win was a grueling five round bout with Jason MacDonald who he submiitted by RNC. I got my money on Cote....and to be honest I can see him as a threat to Silva.

and Jorge Rivera (13-5, in UFC 2-3) Vs Edwin Dewees (34-9-1, in UFC
Jorge "the Conquistador" Rivera was one of the first fighters I saw in the UFC and was impressed with. He came into the UFC with only 1 blemish on his record and won a decision from David Louiseau in UFC 44. Unfortunatly for Rivera he lost is next two fights in the UFC one to Lee Murrary and then one to former MW champ Rich Franklin. Rivera would go on hiatus from the UFC including suffering a TKO lost from Anderson Silva. Rivera returned and won a decision fight from Dennis Hallman at UFC 55 but then suffered another setback by being KO from Chris LEben. Though he hasnt had much luck on the TUF he is still one of my favorite fighters.
Dewees made his mark in the Rage in the Cage promotion in arizona where he fought pracitcially every month for 3 years, he even had an amazing 15 fight win streak. Dewees was brought into the UFC but had the luck of facing Rich Franklin in his debut match and was absolutly overpowered. Dewees wouldnt come back to the UFC until 2 years later where he was shut down again but this time by Chris Leben (quite the TUF alumni killer). Dewees may not look like much but he is an pretty powefull fighter BUT I dont think he has the power to beat Rivera.
