Man, I really enjoyed that RAW. The crowd made a helluva difference. And that's not me trying to sound like some kinda elitist or anything, but truth is that the crowd change the atmosphere in a good way. Some thoughts:
- Their signs are so nice and petite, and artistically, they look pretty good!
- The way the crowd popped for the lesser things an American fan would pop for, specifically when Jericho applied a HALF CRAB onto Benoit... the crowd went "ohhhhhhhhhhhhh". WTF, that's awesome!
- The interviewing of the fans, they seem real passionate about the WWE.
- The pop for Tajiri was absolutely insane. Then him and Regal winning the straps and running into the crowd was really cool too.
- HBK/Flair... very fun, very entertaining to watch. Flair backdropping on the floor like a madman. The crowd "woo-ing" every chance they got, even bowing to Flair like a god. People say once you've seen one Flair match, you've seen em' all, but hell, I still enjoyed this match.
- The way the japanese women were all concerned about Orton was nuts. They looked so sad. More sad than Stacy...
- During Triple H's entrance, almost the entire 1st and 2nd row had their camera phones up taking pics of Triple H. I was buggin out.
- The opening moments to the main event was real cool, emphasizing the pre-match stuff, checking the boots, holding the title up to the fans... good stuff. I was digging the ending stuff with Batista, HHH and the belt hanging high. What a great way to close RAW. Can't wait to catch Smackdown, Heat, Velocity, all emanating from Japan...

I haven't watched the whole thing yet, but it was pretty cool from what I saw. I just found it funny all the signs they were hanging from beneath the Titon-Tron. Did they just go and pull out random signs from around Tokyo? Or was there a reason there were signs about food?

The sad thing is, the few Japanese lucky enough to have SkyPerfect won't even be able to see it for weeks... Curse my LP BB CS service.

The signs were about food? Eh, new news to me! Americans could care less what it says, other than it looks Japanese and that's the theme they were going for.
And the signs that were in the crowd... it looked like there was plenty of thought put into it. And they looked aesthetically pleasing for the most part. And they were small, meaning they didn't obstruct someone's view. Good stuff!!
I just remembered another funny part with Maven, when he was all "you all are probably wondering why I wasn't in the Royal Rumble", and then some JPN fan yelled out in broken english, "because you suck!" Doesn't sound funny, but if you heard it, you would have LOAL'ed yourself.
There were bad moments on the show, but since the crowd was very receptive of it, and eating it up, as was I. Another random thing I caught was the way the entire crowd clapped in unison to HBK's music. And the whole battle for respect thing, which got the crowd to go "ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh". I dug that.

WHOA JUBS WAS GONNA BUY YOUR TICKET!
I was in Tokyo for 7 days and Kyoto for 3 days. I came back a few days ago (the 5th).
I got to see an All Japan Pro Wrestling show!
I went to visit my brother, who is studying in Tokyo for a year through a program from CSUN.

I was in awe of how the WWE stepped up their game in Japan. It was phenominal. I heard somewhere that HHH wanted to run in the Tokyo Dome and I think Johnny Ace wants to do a joint show with NOAH. How awesome would that be, especially if they do interpromotional matches. Of course, we'll never see it... Scrub, the fans in attendance were clapping to all the music, in unison with the beat. I assumed it was a Japanese thing. Anytime I see Chopstix, he's always clapping to some beat!

If you'll please notice that although he must tolerate Jamal having one as well, a certain someone who runs a quality school and stars in his own indy fed that wrestles in a warehouse every week can also hold a major title for a major organization.
Next month marks my big move to (hopefully) Chiba... And (hopefully) finally my chance to work with K-Dojo. I'm crossing my fingers... AND FINGERING MY CROSSES! Makes it hard to type.

The crowds clapping along to the music was my favorite part.

Smackdown from Japan should be pretty interesting... Angle/Rey gets a good amount of time. And on Velocity, London/Akio, which gets a good amount of time as well.

RO&D are insanely over. And the crowd pop that Buchanon and Rico got when the won the titles was just awesome!
I also got to see Johnny Stamboli botch a shining wizard. The crowd laughed.

I missed the second half due to a basketball game, how was HBk vs Flair I wanted to see that more then anything else.
It seemed like a waste of a show to me, on paper its better then most of the Raw ppvs. I woulda paid to see some of that. Eerie of WCW's stupidity/
