The best place for pure lucha training would have to be at the infamous Gil's Garage in East LA!

RevPro also has a solid training program, as they teach a hybrid of styles including lucha, america, japanese, etc.

I don't have any contact info for Gil's Garage, but either Steve or someone else on the board should head you in the right direction!

Good Luck!

Martin at WPW

No long term commitments-no pressure.
The ring is up 24-7

I agree w/ Bob. Martin @ WPW is the way to go.

After talking to Bob I started training w/ Martin 3 months ago and I can't believe how far I have come in such a short time. Martin has a wealth of knowledge as well as a great teaching style. Which makes learning extremely easy.

and Martin is actually qualified to teach Lucha since he was trained in & wrestled all over Mexico & has wrestled for Ultimo in Japan. He isn't some wanna be trying to act like he knows he really does know.

We have training every Mon,Wed,Thur,Fri from 6pm-8pm.

Like Bob said our ring never comes down & it is one of the best rings in so cal. So you don't have to worry about bumping on some crap ass ring.

If you want to learn the BEST and REAL LUCHA LIBRE, you need to check GIL'S GARAGE OR CORSARIO'S GYM.

GIL'S is located on Clela and Whitter Blvd in East L.A.

CORSARIO'S GYM is located on Paxton St. and Telfer St. in San Fernando, Valley. (Pacoima)

In these two places the best wrestlers practice everyday!

I don't know prices, but it is much less expensive than any other wrestling school. ;)
