Promociones Baja Star is running Tijuana tonight with Mil Mascaras (he seems to be working more and more these days) & Vampiro vs. Ultimo Guerrero & Rey Bucanero, plus Halloween vs. Damian in a singles match (thanks to Kris Zellner)

Don't
He's horrible
He just struts around in his girdle, can't take bumps anymore, and still refuses to sell.
He makes Cripple HGH look like Liger

Thanks Bob;
I'll take your advice into consideration. We had him for the first one and his mere presence caused alot of excitement among the lucha virgin gringos but now we are trying to win over the lucha saavy crowd so i am trying to build more dynamic matches but still keep the old style intact. It's a rough one!

Have Vamp and Shocker kill each other, or, bc they're turning Shocker "technico" again, have Vamp/Shocker v Rey Bucanero/Ultimo Guerrero.

Vampiro and shocker are too 80's for Lucha VaVoom.
We need some kick ass CMLL style old style lucha power. Blue Panther is one of the best lucha workers I've ever seen and he was great to work with. Thats what I'm talkin about!

I don't think Vamp and Shocker fit with Lucha Va Voom anyway, since the masks are seemingly one of the main selling points of the shows to the crowd that goes.

Thanks Steve....you get it! We are taking our stylistic cues from the campy old Santo, Blue Demon, Mil Mascaras movies. It fits really, really well with the retro style dancers and the whole campy atmosphere of the show. I have made a few mistakes with sacrificing the dynamics of the Lucha Matches for the campy "show" aspect. I am trying to remedy this by having Luchadores that fit the style and are kick-ass like Santo, Blue Panther, Felino, La Parka etc. and mixing in less old style but more dynamic luchadores like Chilango, Misterioso etc.
I have seen Vampiro and Shocker wrestle several times and they are totally kick ass (I also like Essa Rios alot)But they are in a different genre that would not appeal to our particular audience.
Steve, if you have any ideas please let me know.

If that's the case, then at least bring in Rey Bucanero & Ultimo Guerrero for the next show. They're easily the best tag team in Mexico right now, and probably top 5 in the world. Guerrero still has his mask (last I recall), and Rey has the facepaint.

Understood, though there should be enough room for both. No reason why a team like Bucanero & Guerrero couldn't fit in on the shows.
I know I'd go.

A few of my personal favorites are, Super Parka, Lizmark (whos is definately old skool and still HOT *swoon*), and the Dr.s I love men in white masks & trunks!

Super Parka is definately in the plan for October!
We havn't gotten confirmation yet but we are trying....... Lizmark is great too! He's as fast and dynamic as Blue Panther. Thanks for the suggestion.

Yeah, Super Parka rules. If you get La Parka and Parkita again too I think that may somehow cause the world to end with that much "swank" in one building. The whole Parka family rules (except La Parka Jr.).
Since it's going to be around Halloween, what about Damien and Halloween? They don't have the masks going for them anymore but they fit the spirit.
Super Parka and Lizmark are great choices so far though.

I don't get to see a lot of lucha libre wrestling, even though I probably enjoy it more than any other style of wrestling. Super Parka tagged with LaParka on the Wrestle-1 show right? They were pretty entertaining as a team. And giving they were wrestling KaShin and MMA fighter Uno.

I think Lucha Va Voom needs to have La Parka, Super Parka, and La Parkita all teaming together. I don't think there's any way I could possibly miss that.
