View Full Version : Quick Rev Pro thoughts

I'm going to do a more thing later in my next Steve's View, after the MPW show, but I thought I'd post some quick thoughts for now.

The show was really solid from top to bottom, only two matches were even questionable, and one of those two (the XLUM match) was only questionable because how late in the card it was and how much time it got.

I did have a problem with the show however, all the flyers, Rev Pro's site, the email they sent me, everything says this "Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under". When I get to the show they say tickets are $12 because of a misprint. I could understand that, and it was for a good cause, but... they didn't catch this misprint in the nearly two months since it was announced? Then I found out the misprint was on the tickets, that when the tickets were made $12 was accidentally put on them. So why go ahead and charge the $12? That made zero sense. I'm willing to give them the benifit of the doubt that it was an honest mistake, because Rev Pro has been around 3 years and I don't remember any other shady happenings, and they have always been one of the most honest promotions around.

I know it is only March but Talwar is making a strong case for ROTY early.

The main was the best match of the year so far.

I think Shogun should come out with Gordon Schumway every show, then after each match Gordon can eat Shogun's opponents.

No one on Rev Pro's roster does a 5 star frog splash. No one.

Like I said I'll have a more in depth review and thoughts Saturday night or Sunday morning, and I'm sure Scrub will too.

How many are RevPro and SoCal fans attend the show last night?

I wonder if RevPro sell tapes on website?

we here at Revpro just wanted to extend thamks to the fans and wrestlers who attended our show last night. we really are glad to be back. and from what little feedback we have had, it has been really positive.

let me first clear up some of the confusion on the tickets. yes, the show was advertised for $10 and we have been promoting the (3/22/02) show for a little less than a month. the tickets were printed a week ago and they had $12 dollars on them. we at RevPro never meant to deceive or trick anyone in overcharging them. it was a simple mistake and we are accepting full blame for the misprint and not informing our ticketseller that the ticket had a error. and anyone who brings their ticket stub to the next RevPro (date to be announced) show will receive a $2 discount. we hope you understand that this was not malicious intent on our part and we feel bad that this situation arose and will see that it NEVER happens in the future.

as for videos of RevPro...the new beginning for revPro means new tapes. here's some of the videos that you can look forward to in the near future at http://www.revoultionpro.com: The 2001 Revolution J Tournament, "Don't Call It A Comeback" RevPro 3.22.02, The 2001 Spirit Of The Revolution Tournament, The Best Of RevPro Volume 1 and...in the making....Super Dragon "Evolution" Vol. 2.

again we just wanted to extend our thanks as well as our apologies to everyone who attended. we hope this explanation will help. and if you have any further questions, comments, praise or gripes, please feel free to e-mail:
revolutionprowrestling@hotmail.com and we will be glad to answer anything that is on your mind.

again thanks,
RevPro

This was my first Rev pro show and i gotta say I was impressed. The guys give everything they have and the main event was as good as anything you're gonna see outside of a WWF PPV. The ticket thing was annoying, and a couple matches didn't really click, but overall it was a great show and I'll be there in two months when they go back to Pomona.

'Twas a very good show. The main event was overly sick in choice of moves. I think Street Style did well with D, I didn't think he could hang as well as he did with D. But my favorite of all has to be Shogun, he is very humorous. Good show Rev Pro, Good show!
