It's good to see since leaving XPW, Homeless Jimmy has hooked up as lead singer of Saliva and was able to open up WM18.
And although Hulk put over Rock, he still has his heat, now as a face. Maybe now, they can rid the Whiff of Big Doofus and Scott "Alco" Hall.
One gripe, I'm sick of seeing them plug the next PPV 1/2 way thru the one they are in. At least wait til the end of the show.

Was it just me or did RVD look nervous?
Also, I thought it was Awesome that the crowd was booing Rock and going Crazy for Hogan.
I think the Rock-Hogan match should of main evented with Hogan goin over.

I agree Hogan vs Rock should have been put on last the way it was booked, but I disagree Hogan should have been put over if they want him to be a face now. This was Hogan's chance to "pass the torch" to Rock and still keep heat by turning face. If he was going to stay heel, then I agree he shoulda gone over Rock to keep him strong for a program with Austin down the road.

I thought it was a very fun match, one for the fans. I've never seen a wwf fan in 10 years pop for a back rake or a body slam like they did for hogan last night, hogan is god!

Well the biggest Match in wrestling history has come and gone.I thought the psychology was Great and also think the that the match should have headlined. The crowd was amazingly BOOING THE ROCK,then huge POPS FOR HOGAN.........but why were they holding hands during the pin fall? Either way it still Brought tears to my eyes.It also made me realise that ,
HOGAN will ,"ALWAYS BE THE MAN "

Yeah, RVD did look a tad nervous. Glad he went over. But I hate to see Lord William's mat skills go to waste. He's awesome in the ring and behind the mic.
Hogan/Rock was the biggest pop I've seen or heard in a long, long, long time. Incredible. I guess it does go to show the Hulkster is the man, I hope they don't overuse him though. Total psychology, as they just milked the opening staredown for all it was worth.
I just don't get friggin' UT not selling shit to Naitch or Arn. And the weak ass blade job. CHRIST, this was Wrestlemania, they put over the fact that he was 9-0 lifetime in WM matches, he destroys 2 legends, where are they going w/ UT? Que la chinga?
Good to see Homeless Jimmy leading the band Saliva. Best decision in his life to leave XPW.

Funny how everyone is on the hogan bandwagon now....anyway it was a awesome match and Hogan had his best match in years.....I also liked that there was no gay Vince Mcmahon interference on the show. Great show, every match was solid, with the womens match being the worst match on the show.(Hell of alot better then Chyna vs Ivory however!! !)

Sort of funny, that Flair vs. UT was more hardcore than the actual Hardcore Title. They need to get rid of that belt. The gimmick ran its course a long time ago. Everyone that isn't on t.v. is considered hardcore, and hardcore is more than aluminum garbage cans and broomsticks.
Hogan deserves his props. He wasn't doing any huracanranas or topes, he and Rock went out and put on a great match.
And well see plenty of Vince tonight on Raw, I'm sure.

For me I felt like a kid again seeing Hogan at a Wrestlemania. Just to see the vintage tearing of the shirt, the "hulking up" and of course the post match poses was pure nostalgia. This has really been a great year so far to be a fan of wrestling...well for me at least. I have seen things that I never thought I would see again (especially in so cal). Seeing the Road Warriors and Roddy Piper a few months ago at the UPW show and now seeing the vintage Hogan. It reminds me why I love this sport and why I am a fan. We can all have our tastes in wrestling style, feds, and favorite wrestlers, But our love for the sport will usually, about 99% of the time, always seem to have started with the love for one character.....and that is Hulk Hogan.

I did not think the whole dream match theme of Wrestlemania would go over, but for the most part, it did, and I was glad to see it!

Hell, I cried when Harvey Whippleman blinded hogan with that camera that shot the flame out. Yes, it did reek when Earthquake fucked up hogan on the the BROTHER LOVE SHOW.

One of the worse was when Taker locked up Hogan in that coffin, I thought Hogan couldnt breathe.

How 'bout when Hulkster got that fireball thrown at him by the evil Sarge Slaughter, in WM at the Sports Arena? The nasty Gen. Adnan and Iron Shiek defended good ol' traitor Slaughter. I never thought he could overcome a 3 on 1 battle. Thank God he's a "Real American" and fights for what's right.

Anyone who does not understand why that match could bring tears to your eyes is probably not old enough to drink yet. We forget, this board is mostly visited by children.

I just watched the tape of that Rock/Hogan match today, and while it was awe-inspiring to watch, it didn't make me cry.
The way the crowd cheered for Hogan and booed the Rock was frigging nuts! Hogan played the heel the whole match, yet got the face pops. I have never seen such an insane/electric crowd. That match would have been less enjoyable with a dead crowd. The Raw crowd the following night was just as electric.
Legalized drinking is overrated anyway. :)

You said it, WBM. I figured, going into the match, that Hulk would be looking to upstage Rock, but the fans did it all for him. Could you imagine what the pop would have been like if WM was at MSG, the site where Hulk first won the WWF title back in '84 from the Iron Shiek (albeit w/ 50,000 less people in the house)? It was cool to see that kind of heat for a match, hell, even for anything in wrestling. The feeling in the ring must have been incredible.
Watching Raw the next night, I started getting that "sick to my stomach" feeling when "Alco" Hall and Nash challenged Rock/Hulk to the tag match. The way Hulk was just sort of standing off to the side while Rock was talking started making me think they were going to pull another screw job and triple team Rock.
I hope Hulk's body can hold up 'cause he could have money feuds w/ Stone Cold and H(G)HH.
