In hopes that at least SOME people in this country will be a little more educated as to the Iraq-U.S. conflict, there are some links I think would be helpful for many to read in order to provide some interesting backstory to how we got to where we are.
They are in regards to the 1998 bombings of Iraqi targets by then President Clinton, who was embroiled in controversy due to getting caught with his pants down. If you recall, during Lewinskygate, many Republicans (as you'll see in the article) question the timing of the bombings as a way to deflect attention from the impeachment hearings of the time.
Certainly that view has never been more ridiculous, especially in hindsight.
Perhaps reading this will clarify some of your opinions by providing facts.
Some of these should spark some amusing discussion, especially how whichever party doesn't control the White House, constantly questions the Executive branches "true motives."
