March shows

I plan to go to these for sure:

UPW on March 13th
PBC on March 16th
RevPro on March 22nd
Azteca on March 23rd
WCWA on March 29th

I may go to these:

WPW on March 24th
GSCW on March 30th

I'd like to go to these:

WPW on March 3rd
MPW on March 23rd

But other things take precedence.

This'll be the most local wrestling I've seen in one month since July or so, when I saw MPW, 3 RevPro shows, and TJ show.

Who's going to the most shows?

I'm relatively new to the wrestling scene here in so Cal, having spent most of my life in Texas. What is the Azteca promotion and where will the show be held on 3/23. Thanks in advance.

It is a lucha promotion. They last ran about 4 months ago. They seem to spend a ton of money on a show and run out, then run again once they saved up enough. The show will be at the Grand Olympic in LA and will feature some top lucha stars, and possibly even some Japanese wrestlers.

That Azteca show seems interesting. I saw a poster for it in the ticket booth while in line for XPW. I really wanna check out some other shows at the GOA besides XPW. A packed house for some lucha seems like a fun atmosphere.

If MPW moves their date, that would rock.

One ill-sick six man tag is good enough for me that weekend.

But as of now, March 23 is still debatable.

Mike K Johnson II of 1wrestling.com Int'l report Super Crazy already has booking for IWA Puerto Rico on 3/2. Look below,

IWA Puerto Rico is running on 3/2 at the Pepín Cestero Arena in Bayamón with the following lineup:

*Nuevo Gran Apolo vs. Primo Carnera (I'm assuming this is the NYC worker aka Big Guido from ECW)
*Ricky Banderas & Glamour Boy Shane vs. Starr Corporation in a Steel Cage
*Lobo vs. Chicano
*Huracan Castilo vs. Super Crazy

I was with Martin when he got the call about Crazy. So no matter what everyone says WPW was told that he is sick. Who knows mabye the IWA booked him after they said he would work for Martin. I dont know. BUT WPW does have his plane ticket. It will most likley be moved to another date. So expect S.Crazy in the near future.

My friends and I are heading to so cal. from no. cal to check out some wrestling over the weekend of March 22-23 and I just read about the azteca show. I can not find any information about this show anywhere but it sounds inticing. On the other hand, I saw MPWs first show and I was quite impressed. Can someone help us make the decision by posting a listing of performers or point me in the right direction so I can find out more info about the azteca show and make an intelligent decision.

The Azteca show that was to take place March 23rd at the Grand Olympic has been moved to April 6th.

PBC doesn't have a website that I know of. The card for the Pico Rivera show is on the main page of SCU right now, and the partial card for the PBC show in Tijuana on the 15th is on the message board somewhere.
