Christopher Daniels is the first entrant.
Great pick up for the BOLA. Daniels has been on a tear since leaving TNA. I never felt TNA truly utilized him as well as they should have. I think Daniels is the perfect entrant.

Technically, wasn't Dragon PWG World Champion more recently then ROH. And did Danielson even wrestle in ROH after he was let go of by the WWE.

he gained his popularity due to ROH. im not a ROH fan boy whatsoever but if you think his time in PWG is the reason why he is in WWE right now, you are wrong. His best matches were in ROH. Yeah he was PWG champion. you going to say IWA mid south made CM Punk who he is today just because he was a multi-time champ? No. i see where you can say PWG was a big part of his recent success but his time as ROH champ is what made him what he is today.

No you are right, his time in Ring of Honor is certainly where he found the majority of his fame. His time working in California got him to New Japan. His time in ROH got him to NOAH. And his time in ROH certainly made him the greatest in the World.
I was just noting, he was more involved with PWG before returning to the WWE. I'm just saying.

August 17 - With the peculiar number of entrants in the 2010 Battle of Los Angeles, fans have been speculating on how exactly the First Round, and the entire tournament for that matter, will be structured. Well, speculate no longer, because much like the majority of previous Battle of Los Angeles First Round matches, each match on Night One will be single fall singles matches.
However, the Quarter-Final, Semi-Final, and Final Round match structures, as well as the brackets for the tournament, will remain shrouded in mystery until the Night Two of the 2010 Battle of Los Angeles actually takes place!
Tickets for both nights of the 2010 Battle of Los Angeles are on sale now, so don't miss your chance to witness the annual tournament spectacular in person! On Night One, the First Round of the 2010 Battle of Los Angeles will feature:
