After taking back all the sights and sounds of these last World Series, I have come to realize that professional sports are 'fucked' in the Bay area.
Nothing was better than watching Barry Bonds facial expression after the last catch was made, that is pure gold.
On to why the Angels won...
After following the Angels this post-season, I have come to realize that the Angels have a rally mascot of sorts that is personafied by a spyder monkey.
I don't know if you all remember, but not too long ago our family received the most devastating blow. We found our pet chimpazee, Pancho, slipping away in to the light after being attacked by a savage racoon, that has yet to be caught.
It brought me great joy that Pancho made his return to help the Angels past their foes like in the movie "Angels in the Outfield", only this time, there was not bastard child involved.
May the spirit of Pancho live amongst us for eternity.
