CAME ACROSS THIS REPORT SAD TO SEE ANOTHER ONE GO

Prowerestling.net reports this morning that Chris (Kanyon) Klucsaritis was found dead as the result of an apparent suicide on Friday night. Although details are still sketchy, it is believed that he was in New York at the time of his death. A longtime friend reports that a pill bottle and several notes were found close to the body.

Klucsaritis worked both as the Kanyon and Mortis characters in WCW and WWE, being involved with the Invasion angle. Klucsaritis made headlines after his WWE run concluded by coming out as gay; and appeared on the Howard Stern radio show several times as a result.

Although he retired from wresting at one point, he had returned to the ring again recently and worked a couple of matches this year.

Not sure how these details could possibly be sketchy. He was either found in New York or he wasn't.

you would think his "friends" wouldve called the cops during these suicidal thoughts he was having for psychological evaluations. just shows you no one cared about the guy.

Sometimes people threaten to kill themselves for attention.........and well Kanyon Loved attention so maybe they weren't too concerned

Very sad news. I had the chance to work with Chris (in a referee role) for FCW back at the Olympic a few years back. Seemed like a great guy. I know Luke Hawk was close to him. Very sad.

I hear Mortis is taking this pretty hard.

I've also read that he suffered from bipolar disorder.

You want to make a joke out of someone killing them self? How about someone in your family commits suicide and lets all jump on here and make fun of you!

As a wrestling fan you should be sad. You should be sad that Chris was 40 year old. start at the year 2000 and count how many guys (and girls) 40 and under have passed. You could come up with enough names to make a wrestlemania card!

You're saying he's selfish? Then say the same thing about Kerry Von Erich and make sure you say that to Lacey and see what happens

It is so easy for people to sit at home and call someone a coward for committing suicide, but if you take the time to think of them as a human being who was in a frame of mind where this seemed the best option, it isn't so funny. Everyone in this world has problems, some big and some small, and to think it's funny for a person in the business we all love to get to this place in life, well I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion. A guy can come on this board and think they are cool to "play heel" and shit on everyone, but the act gets old. In my mind a person like this is of less value than the much maligned Mr. California, because for all his faults and everything else, at least he is on this board contributing to the scene.

His shows may not be everyone's cup of tea, but at least he is putting on shows, which is certainly more than someone who merely talks shit in an attempt to "get over" in front of his buddies.

I met Kanyon over 10 years ago in Las Vegas at the Nitro Grill, and he was very personable. He took the time to talk o me, and I really appreciated that. That same weekend I met a lot of WCW talent, and while some were approachable and took photos, others were not as nice. I was looking at my photo album from that trip to Vegas, and on the same page as my photo with Kanyon was a pic I took with Miss Elizabeth and a pic I took with Eddie Guerrero. Made me very sad.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy getting a good laugh over the wrestling business losing a really good guy. Whatever makes you feel good about yourself.

Anyway, Happy Easter everyone. Enjoy a day celebrating the resurrection.

Oh yeah, before someone points out I made a joke about the report, I made a joke about the way the piece was written, not about the tragedy it was written about.

in all honestly I thought they guy already died a year ago. Wasn't there some kind of overdose report about that before?

What makes me sad is that why do all of these guys seem to die the exact same way. I think if you were to do some kind of statistic you'd find that there seems to be more drug (HIGH PROFILE) related deaths in wrestling then probably any other sport profession.

WHO BETTER THEN KANYON?!?!?!
