View Full Version : Worst angle in WWE history
10-14-2002, 09:51 PM
WWE has had some terrible angles, but this Kane murderer shit is the worst ever. I hope they don't question why they are losing ratings by the day.
10-14-2002, 10:04 PM
The whole UT/Kane family put Rob Black to shame....but seriously....did they really think people would tune in next week to see the next Chapter of this "tragic" story??......I wouldnt be one bit suprised if HHH came up with the whole thing.

"WWE has had some terrible angles, but this Kane murderer shit is the worst ever. I hope they don't question why they are losing ratings by the day."
While this is pretty bad, it doesn't even compare to the ridiculous shit that Russo booked in 1998 (the embalming, Vince being the "Higher Power," the Ministry "rape/kidnapping" of Stephanie, etc.) and the disastrous garbage he booked in 2000 for WCW (make your own list).
Either way, this is the first PPV the WWE has had in a long time that the match quality looks so unbelievably subpar, that short of some last-minute miracles, I won't even be bothering to watch.
10-14-2002, 10:43 PM
People cared who the Higher Power was, up untill it was revealed it was Vince. No one cares about this murder nonsense. Plus my cop out is to remind you I said WWE not WWF. :)
10-14-2002, 11:03 PM
I'm waiting for Paul Bearer to come out screaming "she's alive! she's alive! ooooh yes she's alive!"
10-14-2002, 11:56 PM
Anyone eles heaIntercontinental r Bischoff call Patterson," Former WCW Intercontinental champ?"
The Big Man
10-14-2002, 11:57 PM
Yeah i heard Bisch throw about two or three names out and none of them were WWE/WWF. It was funny.
10-14-2002, 11:58 PM
It was suppose to read:
Anyone else hear Bischoff call Patterson," Former WCW Intercontinental champ?"
The Big Man
10-14-2002, 11:58 PM
We wre able to crack the code. LOL
10-15-2002, 12:09 AM
Shame the IC title had to go out with those two beating down Pat....
10-15-2002, 09:49 AM
Yeah, Bischoff messing up the company name was pretty funny. One thing I found a little WCW esque was they had Big Slow come out and start beating on those Island Boyz in one segment and in the next he was fighting with them on Triple H's side.
A little continuity problem???? It's beginning to look like Monday Nitro Raw.
10-15-2002, 10:10 AM
It's all agreeable that they do not have any sense of continuity. It sucks because I could always count on WWF to take their time and develop stories, till Crash TV ruined it all. The last great angle that developed slowly was the HHH/Angle/Steph triangle and HHH/Cactus/Mick angle.
I wish they actually did change their name to Monday Night Nitro. I think that could spur the story about Bischoff still taking over and what not. Make the brands more seperate.
10-15-2002, 10:12 AM
This angle does really suck, the wwe was lucky to barely pass by with the undertaker kane one, but this one is to far... what happened did kane kill katie vick with he was in his dentist office one day 10 years ago, did triple h look up the malpractice files from his old dentist office or something? it keeps getting lamer and lamer and lamer
10-15-2002, 11:48 AM
Why didn't the Big Show just stop and realize "wait a minute, I was beating up the Island Boys earlier, now I'm fighting with them" and tell whoever is in charge?
10-15-2002, 01:31 PM
Lagoon bug when you assume you make a ass out of um , well you suck! Lol, You assume to much Lagoon bug, you actually think big show is smart enough to have a thought? What are you high? Besides, big show would never do anything that he wasnt told to do in the wwe. For three reasons he has a small iq, he is a lazy fat fuck of a man, and also he doesnt want to get fired. Beleive me, the wwe would like to fire show for just about anything, he is about a popular right now as herpes. He is another heavy weight that the wwe has lost millions on. Remember his world title reign? *Shudder* very disturbing.
10-15-2002, 04:51 PM
Its for ratings, there getting lik 3.6, but before they got like 4.1. I hate these angles, the Kane shit, getting rid of the IC title( also when they got rid of the Hardcore and European) the Trish background shit but i like how Victoria is getting a good push, im happy for her, the Undertake cheating on Sara shit, i beat there is gonna be more stupid shi like this, i head they lost like 3 million dollars for a quarter. I am laughing at thew Paul Bearer and Rob thing
10-15-2002, 05:05 PM
I haven't watched the WWE since it was the WWF.... I don't see how anybody else can stomach that crap.
10-16-2002, 05:32 PM
Brodie, well ok I was kinda poking fun at Big Show just like you were. By why do you say I suck? What is your freaking problem with me? Are you one of the last remaining friends of David Krane? Are you Krane himself? If you thought and still think I'm some smark or whatever they call it, did you read my reply to your last post towards me?
10-16-2002, 10:06 PM
Hey lagoon , your right i did come off as a smart ass, but that's my objective. I think i remember your last post about me calling you crast jr (without the great writing skills), i am just saying that because you were over concerned about something so minor. I mean next your going to tell me how b-boys hair cut doesn’t look good, or something like that. Leave it to the pros, i am sure gary knows how to run a show. I dont see rick bassmans, or rob blacks ring rats er i mean crew mouthing off to them on a public forum. I know of krane (scwa guy (boo!), cawrestling.com (saddest thing is second best site in socal out of the four that covered it, no where near scu though) guy, ex ewa (? what the fuck is that) guy) but haven't even met him. So answer to that is no.
I would like to meet you though, because then i would have another guy to poke fun at (hey it's what i do), you seem really over sensitive, and to in detail for just a ring crew guy. I mean all i called you was justin crast jr (on second thought this was a major compiment). The second time i said this
"Lagoon bug when you assume you make a ass out of um , well you suck!"
Dude lighten up, i was making a joke and in a laughing manner said you suck. To your credit that joke wasn't even remotely funny , so you shouldn't take things personally. Now allow me to get you even more pissed off for being so up tight. you are a dum dum head, um a terd burglar, and you stink like old newspapers :). i want to know more about you so i can poke fun at ya (again it is what i do, one of my favorite hobbies)
1. How ugly are you?
2. Are you gay (that one is hours of fun!)?
3. Are you a wrinkled up old man?
4. How many times have you screwed a family member or a farm animal?
5. Do you like the Big Show (more fun there)?
6. WOULD YOU LIKE A CHOCOLATE COVERED PRETZEL :) ?
P.S. when you said that the big show post (Why didn't the Big Show just stop and realize "wait a minute, I was beating up the Island Boys earlier, now I'm fighting with them" and tell whoever is in charge?) was a joke, i honestly though to myself, is this guy amish? Not a good sign my friend. Oh Vey to you too buddy!

To quote the late great Rosanne Rosanadana...."for a guy from New Jersey, you sure do ask a lot of questions."
Keep it up dude, I love your posts!
Oooh Yeayah....... Only 16 days till the Spiderman DVD comes out!
10-16-2002, 11:13 PM
HE'S A NECROPHILIAC!
That's some rich stuff my freinds! I hadn't laughed so hard at Monday Night Wrestling in a long time. Remember when someone threw a water balloon at the nWo & it tagged Scott Hall in the head ? They all tried to still look cool...but everyone wanted to laugh at him. I rewound that one like 20 times & laughed my ass off! Good thing his hair was already all wet & drippy. lol
All Wrestling should be this much fun...but have great booking & cool storylines. So far nobody has done that in quite awhile it seems.
Victoria could be the new Madusa Miceli/Alundra Blayze though. I hope she wins the title from Trish Stratus at "No Mercy". It's all I really care about in the WWE.
10-17-2002, 09:02 AM
That nwo incident was pretty funny, but the Big Show or the entire wwe show is not...at least intentionally. I was watching some tapes of the old ECW tv programs and saw a skit where Dudley Dudley was explaining the lineage of the entire Dudley family and how (stuttering) Buh Buh was going to be their new spokesperson. We are talking some of the funniest promo stuff I have ever seen and I've been watching this stuff for over 30 years. What's happening is sad and it seems to me that they are killing wrestling with a slow painful process.
10-17-2002, 10:52 AM
Jersey boy representing :). Thanks for the props rasslin guy, in the end i just aim to please. Wrestling on the internet has become either one or two things now a days thanks to mostly the wwe (those wacky bastards!) and american japanese(hey i love noah and torymun but people act like that is the only way wrestling can be) wrestling fans.
Either it's too stupid and boring (wwe), or it's too serious. Look i became a fan of pro wrestling when ecw (back in 1996) was in it's hilarity prime, with guys like the blue meannie and stevie richards doing impressions of the blue bloods, blue dust, or hbk and diesel. Then on top of it you had a rag tag group of misfits called the dudleys that made you laugh your ass off. I mean wrestling kicked ass back then, and hasn't been as funny since.
So when my comic shop gets a little slow, or i just need a good laugh i go on here (well mostly socalwrestling, man are those people swell!) and make fun of some random prick. I am glad someone else enjoys when i do this too.
As for spidey it was a awesome flick, one of my all time favs . Wish Nikki Cox played mary jane though, kristen dunst is way to ugly (movie ugly, not ugly ugly) to be a fine peice of ass like mary jane. I will definately pick it up though.
It is early, so no jokes this morning. Go to socalwrestling, there might be some material to laugh at there since the site sucks so much. Late.
10-17-2002, 10:40 PM
Well alright, I'm glad you were just joking then. I just get a weird feeling now and then here when someone takes a shot at me and I don't know if they're joking or being mean in an anonymous way. And I said I didn't mean to sound so smart. But Gary wasn't aware of a weak link in the production until one of his "ring crew" guys told him. He can only do so much, but you're right he knows how to run the business.
10-17-2002, 10:44 PM
Shoot i forgot to say, I didnt mean to mention Krane's name. If anyone is the reason why I feel uneasy posting on here as me and not some fake name, it's him and I don't think there's anyone else who would get all antisocial and do stupid things to me. Unless they find me as the charismatic guy I am(welllll sorta) and get jealous or something. I had a weird 28 year old get like that to me at dance class once.
10-18-2002, 01:04 AM
This is the worst angle Vince has ever allowed to occur under his banner(s). However, we should all keep supporting the product because it's only a matter of time until things turn for the better.
10-18-2002, 04:31 PM
I'm sure you're right, if this is the worst angle ever, it can only get better afterwards. But I'll admit, the angle has me curious, i'm a sucker for this kind of stuff. I was captivated with Paul Bearer and Taker's angle that brought in Kane. I guess something doesn't have to be good in the WWE for me to like it.
10-18-2002, 05:44 PM
It can always get worse. WCW under Russo was worse than this.
The idea of supporting it no matter what isn't a good attitude. If the product sucks. don't support it. That's the best way of convincing Vince that his way isn't working.
Big Beef Bahou

When HHH said :
Kane! You may be able to kill Katie Fic, but you'll never take my title!
That just made the whole storyline worth having. Thats got to be the single best line ever said in professional wrestling. You can quote me on that! lol
