Lots of problems. Salsero and XLUM have taken their group to Monterrey and won't be running TJ anymore. Mora was banned by the comission for 1 year due to false advertising at a show in May and he has since left TJ as well. Caballon's PBC is in major debt and it could be a few months before they run again. So that just leaves AAA shows and Huerta to run shows. There are small shows on Sunday afternoons but they feature guys who are mostly still relative rookies.

TJ was so awesome less than a year ago. Now it's a wasteland. I dunno if its the promoters' faults, the commission's faults, or what, but hopefully someone picks up the pieces and puts something worthwhile together before the year ends.

I too had heard about the Caballon debt, thus preventing him from running a show. I have also heard that there are plans to re-do Auditorio de Tijuana, but the municipality has not gotten its act together on this matter. Also, I have heard that attendance for various other events have been down in the Tijuana area due to the fear that is on the streets because of the drug cartels wars. Many newspapers have reported that homicides are sky rocketing and there are alot of innocent by standers caught by stray bullets. I would really love for the scene to pick back up in Tijuana as it is one of the Lucha hot beds in Mexico.
