I'm looking forward to that on tape.

I have the Z1 tape with Spanky and Smelly's debut. On that same tape, Togo and Hidaka face Takaiwa and Hoshikawa. It was an awesome match. Replace the guy I didn't like in that match (Takaiwa) with Spanky, and that match looks frigging fantabulous.

Yeah, Jay Cal needs some Zero One tapes. And if anyone wants to try to sell him some Z1 tapes with Keiji Sakoda on them, he'll be more than happy to buy them. :D

Kind of weird to see UPW wrestlers teaming up with NWA wrestlers and then to see UPW wrestlers teaming with Zero One.

Tomorrow, Spanky vs. Low Ki

Sweet!!!

--Low Ki won Zero One's NWA, UPW, Zero-One International jr. title earlier today beating Spanky at Differ Ariake in Tokyo in what was reported as a great match-

Sounds Awesome

So does that mean that we may see Low Ki in UPW? Hmm..

if it does, that would be tight.

Who actually controls the ZERO ONE/NWA/UPW International Junior Heavyweight Championship. I mean it seemed like all the booking for that belt came from UPW. But if the belt is on Low-Ki, then it looks like the belt is being booked from NWA. I've yet to see one International Superstar hold that belt. But I guess if the belt is defended in a Japanese promotion, American wrestlers are International Wrestlers...

So what happened to Spanky and Corino. Long story short. They are under Zero-One contract. Zero-One extended their tour a few weeks ago. Spanky and Corino risked their Japan jobs to ask to come home early to work this Ring Of Honor date. Zero-One said they could. Now Zero-One needs them at the newly added pay-per-view on 9/22. They are under Zero-One contract. They have no choice. Spanky and Corino are both heartbroken over this situation. They were willing to come home early and work one Ring Of Honor date for a lot less money because Ring Of Honor is so important to them. They were up front and kept us up to date with everything minute by minute. Ring Of Honor could not ask more of them. We understand the situation. It is just a bad situation.

I heard rumor they won't renewal contract to Z1.

ZERO-ONE is starting to run angles to prepare for an upcoming tag league at the end of the year. The cornerstone of the tag league will be Shin'ya Hashimoto & Naoya Ogawa. A second team expected in the tag league is now (surprisingly) Keiji Sakoda & Shinjiro Ohtani. Nathan Jones & Steve Corino were rumored to be a team as well, but Nakamura (ZERO-ONE boss) doesn't know if he wants to use Jon Heidenreich in Corino's place or not.

Nathan Jones (with ZERO-ONE boss Nakamura) did a press interview in Iwate on the 12th. Jones denied that he was transferring from ZERO-ONE to New Japan.

Jon Heidenreich is going to be Nathan Jone's new full-time tag-team partner in Japan.

According to those releases... it looks like Zero One would be breaking up the current Zero One NWA Intercontinetal Tag Team Champions in Shinjiro Ohtani and Masato Tanaka.

When is Zero One going to determine a Heavyweight Champion?

I heard Ohtani wasn't happy with his role in Zero-One. Maybe because they're having him tag Keije Sakoda, the pseudo-gaijin?
