UFC 63 will take place at the Pond in Anaheim on Sept 23rd. The rumored main event will be the anticpated rematch between Matt Hughes and GSP for the Welterweight title. It should be noted this is the same night as IFL's Renzo/Militech fight...feeling some pressure?
If all goes as planned, Lidell-Ortiz II is planned for Super Bowl weekend 2007 Feb 4th (why?) this of course means that Lidell needs to beat Bablu at UFC 62 (Aug 26th) and Tito needs to beat Shamrock later in July.
UFC Middleweight champ Rich Franklin is talking about making his return Ocdt 14th at UFC 64 which will take place from Manadaly Bay in Vegas. No word yet who he will fight, IMO the UFC would beenfit more from another match or two from Silva to build up the title fight while Franklin could use an "easy" match maybe feed him Josh Koscheck or Nathan Marquardt?
Justin Levens privately announced he was thinking of retirement after his lost to Jorge Santiago at UFN 5. It was the thrid lost in a row for Levens.
