I doubt Tito will make that date with a torn ACL/MCL, fucked up disc in his back. LOL@that coward Joe Stevenson cutting from like 190 to 155. He'll still lose.

agree with u 100% on the Stevenson remark...its sad that that dude won the TUF.

Also as for the Tito thing, IMO it is definitly still up in the air. Word is that Tito got upset by the comments both Dana and Ken made when he wanted to back out of the fight due to his injuries and told them he was back in. We'll see...to be honest I definitly would rathe see Forrest/ Shamrock then Tito/Shamrock II.

I don't see the point in Tito/Shamrock 2 either. The first fight was a mismatch. For some reason Dana loves making rematches to fights that weren't even close the first time around.

Kinda like Arvlosky/Slyvia...but look how that one turned out.

Eh, Arlovski will obliterate Silvia. He knows he made a really stupid mistake by trying to bull-rush a big dude with a ton of power in his hooks and straights, he won't make the same silly mistake again. Same can be said of GSP when he eventually gets his damn rematch with Hughes, he won't make the same mistake again, and he'll win the fight.

I don't think Ortiz will back out. He's being held by the balls by UFC now. I haven't seen someone go from so antagonistic to so pussy whipped in a long time. He actually apologized to UFC and even Dana White after his last fight. He knows UFC is taking off and he can't afford to fall out of the fed again if he wants to keep his level of stardom.

That's somewhat true. If the WFA really does have the huge financial-backing that rumors state it does, then Ortiz probably would be better off fighting there. Then again, Ortiz got paid more for his fight against Griffin than most UFC fighters get paid in an entire year, so who knows.

BAHAHAHAHAHA. Goodbye Chris Leben. They're insane making that fight. I'm glad to see UFC is finally putting Rashad on another show. No way he wins a decision against Bonnar though.

Cool, this is definitely shaping up to be a great show. Here's hoping injuries and whatnot don't plague the superb card. Having Bonnar Vs. Evans is interesting, I see Bonnar winning by decision, as he hasn't been to good at ending fights early as of late, but he still dominates. I get the feeling Bonnar is just going to be fed scrubs for the rest of the year, leading to an eventual rematch with Griffin, with the winner getting a title shot.

Also, Silva Vs. Leben is pretty insane, it's definitely gonna be "put-up-or-shut-up" time for Leben. If he wins, he's a legitimate star, and if he loses, he'll just continue to be considered not "main event" status. More Luke Cummo is good news too, I'm hoping he wins his fight.

I love how when Pride signs new people they go after Olympic Gold Medalists and high level athletes, while UFC's signees are guys that lost to Gilbert Yvel, LOL.

Kenny Florian is taking on Sam Stout as the main event of the TUF 3 season finale. The winner of that fight is rumored to face Sean Sherk for the new lightweight title.

Whoops, yep you're right, I mixed up UFN with the TUF Finale.

LOL, so Sean Sherk is cutting to 155 now? That is probably what he should be naturally weighing anyway since he's like 5'3. He looked like a roided midget fighting at those higher weights.

The last bout has been confirmed for UFC 61 which will air July 8th from Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Drew Ficket will take on Kurt Pellegrino. Fickett (26-4) has had a pretty good career in the UFC though he suffered losses to both Nick Diaz and recently to Josh Burkman. While Pellegrino (6-1) is a relative newcomer who has been bruning up the European and Japan MMA scene, he will be making his debut in UFC.

Does anybody have experience with sports book betting? I'm going to Vegas during the weekend of UFC 61 and I want to put some money down on some of the fights. I have no idea how to read the odds and calculate winning, etc. Any link to explanations on the web?

Oh its easy anyone that has a plus by the name is the underdog. For example:

Slyvia +120 Arvloski -50

This means if ya bet $100 ya'll make 120, if ya bet 100 on Arvloski (the favorite) then you will only make $50 (of course thats why u rarely ever bet on the favorite).

Certain sportsbooks will have trifectas which means u can bet on three fights and have to win all three to get the win. The win though is huge like I think u can bet $20 and make $300. But its very hard usually to get all three wins right. Also u have to pick the way the victory will come about (thats always tricky) but considering ur only puitting down $20 its not a big risk. Hope this helps. u can also look up on wikipedia for sports betting but that can get kinda confusing especially considering there are no points being used in MMA, so half of it doesnt apply to what ur doing. If anything just ask someone at the sportsbook and they will be glad to help ya out.
