PCW Ultra Announces Full Match Lineup for Vision Quest on September 7th

Yesterday, PCW Ultra announced the additions of Eddie Kingston and Rey Horus to its September 7 event, Vision Quest, along with the event’s complete match lineup. The event will feature seven matches, with all four of PCW Ultra’s titles being defended.

Eddie Kingston and Rey Horus will be replacing Sami Callihan and Rich Swann who were originally advertised for Vision Quest but had to drop out due to contractual obligations with Impact Wrestling. This will be the PCW Ultra debuts for both wrestlers, and Kingston’s first time wrestling in Southern California since the August 31, 2008 blow off match to his feud with Necro Butcher in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. Kingston will be facing Brody King in their first ever singles match and Rey Horus will be challenging Shane Strickland for the PCW Ultra Light Heavyweight Championship. Strickland will be making his fourth defense of the title.

The scheduled main event for Vision Quest will be Penta El Zero M defending the PCW Ultra Heavyweight Championship against Hammerstone. Since a no-contest with Brian Cage at last December’s PCW Ultra event, Refuse to Lose, Hammerstone has won five consecutive matches in the promotion, having beaten Brian Cage, Brody King, Jeff Cobb, ACH, and Timothy Thatcher. Penta El Zero M will be making his fourth title defense.

Reno Scum (Adam Thornstowe and Luster the Legend) will be making their first appearances in PCW Ultra in over two years. They will be challenging Warbeast (Josef and Fatu) for the PCW Tag Team Championship. This will be the ninth title defense for Warbeast, and neither Josef nor Fatu have ever been defeated in PCW Ultra in any match. Warbeast has held the titles since January 20, 2017.

Tessa Blanchard will be defending the PCW Ultra Women’s Championship against Diamante in the night’s fourth championship match.  This will be the Southern California debut for Diamante, who is part of the LAX stable on Impact Wrestling. Blanchard is the only champion in the promotion’s history, and this will be her third title defense.

The other matches announced for Vision Quest are Daga versus ACH and a triple-threat match between Jake Atlas, Maxx Stardom, and Puma King. This will be the PCW Ultra debut for both Puma King and Stardom, and the Southern California debut for Stardom.

Vision Quest will be taking place at the ILWU Memorial Hall in Wilmington, CA at 8:30 p.m. There will be a pre-show meet and greet for platinum ticket holders from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tickets to the event are on sale now at PCWUltra.com and range from $30 for general admission to $100 for front row tickets.
