News & Notes is back with the latest updates from PCW Ultra, FIST Combat, PWG, RISE, wrestler appearances, and more. Click for this week’s news update.

PCW Ultra announced the lineup for their September 7, 2018 event, Vision Quest, and then was forced to make changes due to Impact Wrestling contractual obligations for a couple of wrestlers.

Announced for the event were ACH, Brody King, Daga, Diamante, Hammerstone, Jake Atlas, Maxx Stardom, Penta El Zero M, Puma King, Reno Scum (Adam Thornstowe and Luster the Legend), Rich Swann, Sami Callihan, Shane Strickland, Tessa Blanchard, and Warbeast (Josef and Fatu).

It was then announced today that Sami Callihan and Rich Swann would be unable to appear due to contractual obligations. Impact Wrestling is taking part in MediaCon that same weekend in the UK. PCW Ultra had not announced the matches for Callihan and Swann yet, and replacements should be announced for them shortly.

PCW Ultra has announced several matches for Vision Quest already. Announced is Warbeast defending the PCW Ultra Tag-Team Championship against Reno Scum; a triple threat match between Jake Atlas, Puma King, and Maxx Stardom; and Tessa Blanchard defending the PCW Ultra Women’s Championship against Diamante. This will be the Southern California debuts for Stardom and Diamante, and the first singles match between Blanchard and Diamante.

Tickets for the event are on sale now at PCWUltra.com.
