First match announced for PWG’s Game Over, Man on April 21st

The first match for Pro Wrestling Guerrilla‘s for their April 21st, 2017 event “Game Over, Man” has been announced through their official Twitter account.

In a non-title match, PWG World Championship Zack Sabre Jr. will be going one on one against Japanese wrestling star Dick Togo.

During the 90’s, Dick Togo was a part of the Kai En Tai DX stable in the Michinoku Pro promotion in Japan and made appearances in ECW and NJPW. Togo was also part of the WWF’s version of Kaientai. Togo’s first and only appearance in PWG was at their December 12th, 2011 event “Fear” in Reseda, CA as part of his 2011-2012 retirement tour where he went against PWG World Champion at the time El Generico (WWE’s Sami Zayn) in a singles match. Togo returned to professional wrestling after retiring in 2012 at DDT’s Super Star Lane on July 3rd, 2016.

Before his singles match with Togo in April, Zack Sabre Jr. will be in a tag team grudge match at PWG’s “Nice Boys (Don’t Play Rock ‘n Roll)” on March 18th, 2017 in Reseda, CA when he teams with his LDRS partner “The Villain” Marty Scurll against the team of Best Friends, Trent? and Chuck Taylor. PWG’s “Nice Boys (Don’t Play Rock ‘n Roll) will also feature a PWG World Tag Team Championship Three-Way Match as the Young Bucks (Nick & Matt Jackson) defend their titles against the team of Ricochet & Matt Sydal and the team of Rey Fenix & Petna El Zero M. Pro Wrestling Guerrilla’s “Nice Boys (Don’t Play Rock ‘n Roll)” takes place on Saturday, March 18, 2016, at 8:00PM, and “Game Over, Man” on Friday, April 21st, 2017 at 8:00PM at American Legion Post #308. American Legion Post #308 is located at 7338 Canby Ave., Reseda, CA 91335. Tickets for “Nice Boys (Don’t Play Rock ‘n Roll)” are sold out. No information on when tickets for “Game Over, Man” go on sale have been announced yet.
