MPW just recently returned after a several year hiatus, running smaller shows to help their students gain experience, and this will be their first of what is essentially a showcase show. In its original incarnation MPW was one of the first “all star” promotions in Southern California in that it didn’t have its own school and booked top wrestlers from other promotions throughout Southern California mixed in with outsiders. They were the first promotion to use wrestlers such as Adam Pearce and Lo Ki in the area. They finished as runner up in the 2001 Southern California Promotion of the year award to Revolution Pro and featured the 2001 Southern California match of the year when B-Boy defeated Super Dragon. They went on hiatus in March of 2002 and didn’t return until 2010. The second incarnation of MPW lasted until 2013 and just returned a few months ago.

The All Star Spectacular will be taking place July 16th at the Boy’s & Girl’s Club of Moorpark which is located at 200 Casey Road in Moorpark. Tickets are $30 for ringside, $20 for adults, and $10 for children 10 years old and younger.
