PWG announces more entrants for the 2016 Battle of Los Angeles

Earlier today, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla announced more participants for the 2016 edition of the Battle of Los Angeles tournament.

Dalton Castle was announced as the fifth entrant announced for the tournament. Castle made his PWG debut earlier this year and competes regularly in Ring Of Honor. This will be Castle’s first Battle of Los Angeles tournament.

The sixth entrant announced for the tournament was UK independent star Pete Dunne. Dunne is known for his work in PROGRESS Wrestling and Revolution Pro UK, and has appeared in CHIKARA and AAW. This will be Dunne’s PWG debut and his first Battle of Los Angeles tournament.

Sami Callihan was announced as the seventh entrant in the 2016 Battle of Los Angeles tournament. This will be Callihan’s second Battle of Los Angeles tournament, having competed in the 2012 edition of the tournament, where he lost to Adam Cole in the semi-finals.

Tommy End was announced as the eighth entrant announced for the 2016 Battle of Los Angeles tournament. This will be Tommy End’s 2nd Battle of Los Angeles tournament, having competed in the 2015 Battle of Los Angeles tournament where he lost in the 2nd round to Mike Bailey.

Trevor Lee was announced as the ninth entrant in the 2016 Battle of Los Angeles tournament. This will be Lee’s third Battle of Los Angeles, having competed in the 2014 and 2015 editions of the tournament. In 2014, Lee would be eliminated in the semi-finals Johnny Gargano, and was eliminated in the second round by Marty Scurll in 2015.

Adam Cole was announced as the tenth entrant in the 2016 Battle of Los Angeles tournament. This will be Cole’s third Battle of Los Angeles tournament. Cole won the 2012 edition of the tournament, and was eliminated in the first round in 2014 by Zack Sabre Jr.

The eleventh entrant in the 2016 Battle of Los Angeles will be John Hennigan. Hennigan is also known Johnny Mundo in Lucha Underground, and previous competed as Johnny Nitro and John Morrison in WWE. This will be Hennigan’s PWG debut and first Battle of Los Angeles tournament.

The twelfth entrant announced for the 2016 Battle of Los Angeles will be debuting UK independent star Jack Gallagher. Gallagher is known for his work in PROGRESS Wrestling, ICW, has competed for Pro Wrestling ZERO1 in Japan, and is also a participant in the WWE Cruiserweight Classic. This will be Gallagher’s first Battle of Los Angeles tournament.
